You expect them to buff MANPADs just because aircraft got a survivability buff?

No, there is expectation that they will buff Stingers because of multiple bug reports, using multiple primary sources showing the Stinger is underperfroming in most aspect considerably. If small calibre missiles now require multiple hits to kill a target, it further exasperates those outstanding bug reports.

And with those buffs, the Stinger carriers would increase in BR.
I always supported correct things at the end of the day. Corrections have consequences.

I’ve never seen a post on reddit, in game or on this forum where people have ever complained that the stingers are over performing lol the Santals missiles… My god… Somehow are worse imo… I do not look forward to using them… Even if gaijin gave us improved lock of ranges that’d be a fair compromise… 1.5km on a snow map to counter a heli? Might as well shoot at it with the 50cal.

sadly it doesnt work.

This problem only occurs when i activate frame generation, otherwise hud appears without frame gen.

Weird thing is on hangar everything works fine but as soon as i enter the match hud dissapears.

Given the performance of missile systems like the Strela at 10.3 and the lack of any meaningful 10.0 lineup for Britain. I would gladly take full strength Stingers on the Stormer AD to be 10.3 instead of 10.0.

As a general rule of thumb, there are either already better SAMs at the same BRs of the Stinger Slingers or a small increase wouldnt hurt them in the slightest.

Too often the excuse of “but it might increase the BR” has been justification for leaving things in a unrealistic and weak state where things actually struggle at their current BRs. 99% of the time, with proper fixes and buffs, even if that results in a BR increase, will have an overall net improvement.

For example. I would much rather have full strength BOL, finished FM and Phimat pods on the Tornado F3 at 12.3 than having what we have right now at 12.0. Or Id much rather have a full strength FRS1 at 11.0/11.3 respectively instead of being 10.7/11.0 in their current state.

It is a tad funny to me that Roland 3s are the same BR as Stingers.
Though at the same time, it’s arguable that Roland 3s are only marginally superior at this point.

Either way, I find Stingers usable currently, and with potential fixes and BR increase.
Who knows… maybe Gaijin doesn’t want to create a hole at 9.7 for some reason…

Given the MASSIVE holes throughout multiple nations SPAA lines. I dont think they really care.

I checked the replay, you’re playing the M24 which in two tech trees is a rank 2 vehicle, the task mentions it has to be in a vehicle that is rank 3 or above.

Try this key bind (just check what key yours is set to):

For most if not all tasks, you need to spawn a rank 3, but the rest of your lineup can be rank 2.
Though that could’ve changed.

And he probably didn’t spawn or didn’t have a rank 3 in his lineup.

Will have to test that out when i get the chance :)
