Great thing about StatShark is the showing of trends. People always argue with the entire statistics of a vehicle, but it’s better to see how it’s going in the current environment. Both which show the SS outperforming our beloved Yamato.
I am going to point out so everyone fully understands ( ahem, @UniqueScorpions-live ), that the listed 8.58 K/D is the AVERAGE K/D for EVERYONE playing the Sovetsky Soyuz. WHICH MEANS, that the actual top/best players are getting significantly HIGHER K/D numbers than only 8.58 K/D. I am not a math whiz, but it would probably be something as high as 15 K/D perhaps even 20 K/D for the top % of players to be able to push that AVERAGE K/D number to 8.58.
It is beyond obvious how unbalanced the situation is. If they will not make changes to the ship’s damage model/armament etc, then it should probably be moved up to 9.7 BR so that it cannot seal club other botes down to 7.7 BR. EDIT: (Perhaps 9.7 is “too much” but something needs to change. It should not be the same BR as the other 8.7 BR botes when its win rates and K/D numbers are so far off the charts.)
They’ll nerf it since you all complain about anything Ussr related. Maybe, for once, they’ll just ignore the lot of complainers. Where were Gaijin when the Scharnhorst was (and still is) seal clubbing? The Scharnhorst still is one of the best ships in the whole game.
Say 5 good players get 100 kills total right, and 5 deaths total, that gives you a 25 k/d. Say you have 3-5 semi bad or bad players, that average 40 kills total per 15 deaths total. It’s all a toss up.
That’s why there is no concrete way to say X vehicle is over preforming without looking at whom is playing it. But I guess I’m insane for thinking sanely?
Nah, you have been trying to claim that the Sovetsky Soyuz is no better than the other 8.7 BR Botes. That is what others are taking issue with. If you want to make a nuanced argument, awesome. But I read all of your past comments today and you have not been making reasonable arguments.
Is is unreasonable to check players to their vehicles?
So German players are notoriously bad in tanks… but that’s clearly because the tigers are bad? (In fact the tigers are quite devastating if played by a good player)
I’m glad you agree. But being logical, to look at the most average stats, you need to find the most average players, and sum them up to get the mid level attributes for a vehicle.
It’s a good vehicle if all the mid level players are averaging above their norm kd
First, logical fallacy. I do not care to look up the exact one. Player complaints have nothing to do with the facts and evidence of how unbalanced the Sovetsky Soyuz is.
Furthermore, I AM “RU bias”. I made no complaints about muh 2S38 and BMD’s getting moved up last change. You can search the BR thread, I made no argument against these tonk changes (I might have said I did not LIKE it, but I did NOT leave any likes on any comments aruguing AGAINST the change/nerf.) I call it as I see the facts. And the fact is the Sovetsky Soyuz is stupendously unbalanced.
(GRB shown. BMD’s went up for both GRB+GAB, 2S38 only moved up BR in GAB)
I also did not complain about the Kerch’s BR moving up in Naval Arcade. Same reasons. It was performing extremely well at the lower BR. But still NOTHING compared to what the Sovetsky Soyuz is doing currently:
Auto loaders being modeled far before any turret baskets (and mainly only on Soviet vehicles)
Spall liners being added to many more vehicles, when they were initially intended on only being on the T-90M (oh and I remember all the German mains whom threatened gaijin employees about it).
The Kronstadt which was initially a bit too good, being nerfed again and again, now, if you take a semi skilled players hit, your ammo instantly detonates, leaving you with no ammo, or immediately sunk.
It is not a logical fallacy, in the same manner in which you speak it.
2s38 did deserve a br change, for sure, and it got it. BMD-4 & BMP-3 sure, the only one I am puzzled about of those was the BMD-4M. But it’s already passed so no use in brining it up further.
SovetSky is just as killable as the rest, a Bismarck, Yamato, and Iowa all have 1 tapped my SovetSky, and I have one tapped all but the Yamato.
So I disagree, it is not just that cut and dry, or that simple.
You also forget, crew stats, crew level, expert or ace, etc. I usually expert my naval crews at the very least, I’m sure other ace them.
The Kerch was never known for being a good vessel. You can be very good in any vehicle, while others are terrible, those are the two sides to every coin. 🪙
How about the Atlanta? It was 5.3 forever and a monstrously over powered vehicle, capabale of taking a beating, and dishing out vast amounts of damage, and still can. It has now become a 5.7 after literal years of being broken.
Yet Soviet vehicles get a finer lens upon them. Why? Because the gaming company is / was Russian? What if this was a US made game??
Alright it is quite obvious that you are either delusional, a troll, or a deliberately bad actor. Or maybe all of the above. I will no longer interact with someone who makes such blatantly misleading and/or false statements. Cheers.
