Update 2.47.0.128

MSC is better than one of the best 10.7s (Leo), so I don’t see why you’re complaining.

There’s a difference between using a 240mm pen gun where you still need to aim for weak spots, versus literally just pointing and clicking anywhere on the tank, and getting a 100% penetration unless you bounce with the M-51.

The M-51 can reliably one-hit kill a lot of tanks with center mass shots (mostly Soviets) and penetrate any tank at its BR (or really +2 BRs higher then it).

At least since the BR change they’re not being spammed as much as before.

“Better” 🤡

The MSC in question:
-same exact reload speed
-considerably worse survivability
-considerably worse armor layout
-worse mobility
-worse gun handling

Literally it’s only pros:
-larger ready-rack/capacity of blowout protected ammunition
-shell with less than 20mm of extra penetration over 120mm DM23!!!🤯🤯🤯
-an autoloader but good luck even surviving a hit that knocks you down to 2 crew for this to even be considered a pro

Yeah totally man this deserves to be above the 2A4 in BR.

🤡

If the 2A4 was only in the French TT it would be 11.3 at this point

Everytime I try to play Me163 in RB, which probably noone else plays, I get more and more dissapointed. Start from speed 0km/h, 0m altitude, 3:30min of fuel, and ALWAYS… always as the lowest BR. Luckily, there were not so many MACH=1+ oponents. Heh. Now we have whole line of Su7s. Planes which will this wooden glider face EVERY match, with NO chance to scratch their paint. Can we get at least some initial speed at the takeoff? Like the Mig15bis has?

There’s imo only truly one soviet vessel that should go up & it’s the Small Anti Submarine Ship (MPK)/ Corvette Project 204, it has remained its original BR for far to long & imho is more powerful then these Peacock class corvettes ever will be.

I will admit against a small vessel with sub 40 mm armament a Peacock class will be nasty but to increase them is daft, especially the base model British one with only 115 shells (85 round ready rack) & no secondary MG’s, I’m truly surprised they’ve not given it more shells for how big it is (although it maybe a design thing but to bad LÉ Olra was scrapped last year so we can’t probably go look at the feeding mechanism if there was more shells for if we needed photo evidence, also the smaller Type 143 FAC received 600 odd extra shells years ago).

An also there are larger ships with the same spawn at a lower BR with heavier weaponry that can defeat a Peacock quickly & I see it happen often meanwhile a player controlled Peacock is rarer than a honest king.

IMHO the base model should either have been left alone or gone to 3.7 while the LÉ Olra should’ve probably gone up to 4.3 or hell give the option to swap the limited ammunition armed OTO 76/62 for a Bushmaster M242 autocannon like the Philippines ones carry.

(I never realised until rather recently LÉ is the ships nation prefix not a part of the name).

Inadvertently There’s a few soviet things that should honestly go down like the Sentry Ship (SKR)/ Frigate Project 50 SKR Yenot (heh Raccoon) as that thing is below average an has sat at 4.0 since its inception & is just sad compared to the sisters (SKR Rosomachka & SKR Karl Marx).

(Disclaimer, main mobile out of action, on auxiliary mobile, if names are incorrectly spelt it’s due to not having my notes on ship names to remember).

perhaps it was different in RB, but in AB it was good for 4-6 PT boat kills - having the boat spawn meant it got right into them ASAP, as opposed to a lot of soviet sub chasers that got DD spawns.

Maybe, but the 57mm placement is utter trash. Have to expose your broadside or you can’t fire.

There’s a few ships that must unsheathed their armament to be used, a twin barrel AK-725 at 3.7 far more ridiculous than a single barrel OTO76/62 ever will be as the firepower from it is devastating when on the receiving end as no ship is safe from essentially the same shells off of the ZSU-57-2 even destroyers 7000 metres out, the APHE rips aart everything.

An unlike the ground based cannona this is belt fed & has a quick cooldown resulting in it shitting out shells quickly.

Besides that mount the vessel also carries the two dozen barrel RBU-6000 rocket assisted depth charges forwards of the superstructure which no matter the distance be it 25 metres or 6000 metres will devastate anything it hits.

An if that’s not enough it carries four albeit ASW torpedoes if needed but that’s enough armament compared some other larger vessels in that spawn category.

The vessel isn’t slow either as it iirc tops out at 35kts which is faster than the larger cumbersome corvettes of the same spawn zone so it can go A to B quickly & unsheathed armament fast.

I’ve been using it ever so often in my 4.0, 4.3 & + BR lineups as I genuinely don’t think it should face 3.0/.3 vessels let alone 2.7 stuff which has no ability to combat it before being shelled by 57 mm shells or 1750 mm rockets.

The stats keep them low because most people are Brain dead.

The good players aren’t typically playing them and inflating their stats.

And to add to that, it has 400 HEAT pen at 6.3… it has more pen than a bunch of 10.0s and 10.3s.

It will one tap light tanks on terrible hits, and usually one tap everything else, or severely disable it.

It truly needs a reload nerf.

Exactly - and what does Gaijin use to determin BR??

Irrelevant - see point #1

So will everything lol - what a terrible argument!

No it doesn’t - you need to get a grip.

Oh dear someone got upset!

It pretty much does, your cope is preventing you to see things clearly.

Its funny they gave the same reply to someone talking about the F18A, F18A AIM120 when? BRM #1 said it was replaced by 120A

I dont think the reporting managers actually read the body of the bug report, or even the title

yes it can have this number of kills but also much less if the turret was disabled quickly by gunfire - then repairing starts and despite any damage model the peacock is a lame duck and used for target practice.

Dont use the c5
Maybe take 2 for long shots but for the rest its better to take 120b

Having played it myself, I hardly see why it’s 6.3 and not 6.7

And no, a lot of things don’t 1 tap light tanks and purely everything.

Thank you for your poor argument.

Oh? what “lot of things” can’t 1-tap light tanks??

And what “purely everything”??

🤣😎

It would be easier to list things that will one tap usually. Anything greater than 76mms generally will 1 tap light tanks.

Expect, unless the shell doesn’t fuse. At least the M-51… oh wait, it’s heat! It will always kill light tanks! Even on bad angles and bad hits, it would be rarer for a non kill to occur.

The M-51 can quite literally kill 10.7 tanks decently reliably. And you question why that’s a problem. What other 6.3 can decently reliably kill a 10.7?
Or a 8.7, 7.7, 6.7?

This will be ages before I get your reply.

The Tiger II (H) Sla.16 power decrease bug report is kind of a joke. It assumes gearbox power losses that drop the power from 750 hp at the crankshaft down to 680 hp at the output shaft. The speed is accurate, and there are plenty of reports about that speed, but when it comes to power, I don’t get why this bug report was accepted. The WT Bug Reporting Manager #1 even said, “The engine power in the game does not account for drivetrain losses.” So if we consider power at the output shaft as output, we’d have to recalculate every tank’s engine power. For example, the Leopard 2A7V with 1500 hp would drop to around 1350 hp, which is about a 10% decrease.

Russian players when Germany gets a nerf historical or ahistorical:

hang-first-time

That’s nerf just because Gaijing want to nerf tigers for some unknown reason…
