Not sure if anyone else posted this update/change yet (#3 or #4 change now) but I was playing a match and noticed that my Kungstiger was going almost 40 km/h (Arcade), looked at the spread sheet again and saw a new new new change:
I also do not know if this is now “correct”. I would like to hear your input in relation to the documents you posted up there 👍
(Or maybe this happened “already” and I just didn’t notice? Lol, let me know if I am just behind and I will edit or just delete this reply, thx.)
34.6 km/h @ 2500 RPM is the correct top as per multiple primary sources, the report that claims the 38 km/h was erroneous and used information on the Tiger Ausf. E’s top speed based on an error present in the Tiger II’s driver’s manual.
It in game simply uses the Maybach OLVAR OG 40 12 16 Model A instead of the later B. So stop crying, i guess.
Same about the 4 to 1 Reverse gears of A to B.
I would not say that, the R27 pulls extremely hard and in most close Range battles the Enemy is Dead before his AMRAAM reaches you. But that Only Works on the R27.
The question is whether Taiwan actually uses the DM33, or whether developers have installed it for the fun of it and with no research. In principle, Taiwan should use American ammunition, such as the M733 or M833.
I love that the BMD4 and Khriz are together now. Gaijin knows that for every complainer like Scorpions, there are many more who will enjoy the changes.
For me, the interesting thing about the game is that the tanks carry the rounds they actually use. So if the Taiwanese M60A3 actually carries the M833, then give it to them, but don’t put a round in it that they don’t use. It would be like giving the Centurion Mk10 the DM63 because I don’t like the rounds it comes with.
Another funny point would be the strange obsession the devs have with not giving American tanks the M833, since I think only two or three tanks use it, when in reality both the M60A1 Rise and the A3TTS could fire it, and it was possibly the one they used in the Gulf War.
Fair, 8.3 nukes are still viable if you have either IS-7 or PT-76-57. I’m about the 9.0 APHE nuke life.
I agree that it’s better if they’re given the rounds they actually use. Of course. But I’m just glad that dud of a tank has been given something to make it viable against the 100 other good Chinese 9.0s. So tell me, though. The CM11 has had DM-63 for years now. Is that also an issue for you?
Look, I’m not completely against it, since it was ridiculous to have an M60A3TTS firing an early 1980s APDS-FS as its best ammunition. But that’s what I said: it makes more sense to have added the M833.
In the case of the CM-11, well, considering that the CM-11 uses the same barrel as the IPM1, which gives the CM-11 the ability to fire the M900A1, which is better than the DM63, you can imagine what I think.
