You again fixed one and simultaneously broke other
Now if you flew up on ships floatplane or on plane in setup and then return to ship control, you zoom in first person view breaks - by pressing zoom button camera won’t zoom anymore glitching back and forth. Replicates only in NAB NRB seems fine.
Sadly, seeing the french units again getting a BR increase is something we’ve been already used to. Maybe one day you will stop using these stupid statistics to balances units. Good players play minor nations, bad players choose russian german or US stuff.
Sure glad the community managers were active in that forum thread yesterday, addressing concerns, and answering questions/taking additional feedback on the BR changes. Like Im happy they didnt just post the changes and then hide for the rest of day.
I don’t understand this. The Phantom is weaker than the MiG-23ML, the Phantom has less speed and less weapons, and even worse missiles. Why does the Phantom go to 11.3 and the MiGs to 10.7? Can you imagine what they will do at 9.7?
I honestly do not think the cheese wedge (Strv 103 C) belongs at 9.0… I understand that it is a decently strong vehicle at 8.7, with 105mm APFSDS and a 4 second reload for it’s entire ammo load, but at 9.0 that is about it with the upsides… It doesn’t have outstanding mobility, it doesn’t have unbeatable armor - at 9.0 most APFSDS rounds will just ignore the angled front plate and penetrate, at least taking out the engine and with that the ability to aim and fight back, if not even taking out some crew. The 103C cannot aim on the move (at least not reliably) - if hull aim is activated while moving, the tank will first come to a complete stop before turning to move the gun to the desired direction. It’s round isn’t anything special anymore at 9.0 either… Similarly, I do not think the Ikv 91-105 belongs at 9.0 either. Yes, it is a fully stabilized light tank with scouting, 105mm APFSDS and a LRF, but it has virtually no armor, bad gun depression angles to the front and mediochre gun handling. Also for a light tank it’s mobility is “good” at best, but with a 64 km/h top speed nothing great. I hope these changes get reverted in the near future, especially the cheese wedge. It now just is an RP pinata for the enemy team, getting it’s engine taken out even more frequently than it allready did at 8.7.
(Yes, I am a swedish main, but therefore I speak from experience. I have played the beautiful 8.7 lineup a lot and I can therefore attest that these vehicles are not as OP as they might seem and do not deserve the increase in BR, also because the step from 8.7 to 9.0 is more than just a 0.3 BR increase. These vehicles will now face 10.0 tanks in a full uptier, tanks with 400+ mm penetrating APFSDS rounds, thermals and same - if not better - mobility.)
I mean partially I guess. But in a similar fashion, the MiG-23s in an uptier can face ADATS, ItO, FlaRakRad, etc, which are all super dangerious to it as well, if it goes CAS. Not to mention it has to sacrifice A2A for A2G. It’s really not that great.
The F-4E could face Pantsirs already anyway, so you should be prepared for them. And you can with the RWR you have on it (you know when a Pantsir is out there). The MiG-23 RWR on the other hand does not tell you anything.
Also, the F-4J exists if you care about A2A armament more than A2G, it gets pretty much equal performance A2G (but more) than the MiG-23, but you don’t have to sacrifice A2A weapons at all to equip them. Since it’s also 10.7, it also doesn’t face Pantsirs if that’s really the only thing you worry about. So if you think the MiG-23s are unfair I guess, just play the F-4J for something comparable.
