For the mounts we have data from there are a plethora of flashtight zones
Per example the british 15 inch Mark I/N has 5 different flashtight zones so a hit and fire in the ammunition hoist needs to go through at least 2 of those zones to reach the magazine

Can this be considered for most ground attack aircraft?
Whislt some are able to do quite well due to special circumstances withwise to getting air to air kills, others dont. For example in something like the Tornado Gr4, my usual tactic in Air Sim is to avoid the enemy at all costs, but to get the skins for free, I would have to do the exact opposite and spend my time trying to actively engage Mig-29s, F4F ICE and Viggen Dis with only a pair of Aim-9Ms in an 11.3 airframe. Not exactly a good chance.
Fire in turret/barbette had been always a great threat irl even when flash-tight doors securely closed as regulated. If there’s no chance that a fire can spread along the elevators, there’s no need to flood the magazine after turrets getting hit as what happened on Bismarck, Scharnhorst, Kirishima, etc.
There should be a way to simulate the fire spread along the ammo elevator, when the player doesn’t treat it properly.
Im sorry, if im reading this right, is this a massive nerf to american BBs? Gaijin still rules that shell rooms are ‘explosive’ and are always present in later capitals barbettes. Did Gaijin just make Standards and Alaskas barbettes even more of a instea death for American players?!

Played a few battles today, didn’t feel any major difference to the survivability of US battleships. Plus the patch note specifically mentioned:
some the ammo storage is separated from each other by thick armor, others can lack such armor or not have such thick armor, which can cause the explosions effect to drastically differ from one vessel to another
Fix these maybe?

Ah, i dont think thats something that the armor view can show. Still, barbette hits now having more consequences is a decent direction so im interested how this shakes naval RB.

I haven’t had the time to test it out yet, so this is purely hypothetical, but shouldn’t this be a pretty massive nerf to Tennessee since the powder handling rooms under the barbettes are part of the magazine dm? Especially with the explosion damage now scaling with ammo in the module, I would imagine the 250+ shells normally still in the barbette by the time they detonate would make for a larger explosion than had previously been the case.
so, i was working on a User skin for the Italian ships and just noticed that on this latest update Gaijin changed something related to the weathering/camo condition of the ships and now even with me changing the alpha channel i can’t remove weathering from the camo, anyone have any idea on what is going on there?
