Not to mention that scouting is still a thing (if anything is going to drive the sales of 2S38 and BMD-4), 76 more SP is not going to make a difference; A full loadout of KH-38 should be its own kill streak, at least a minimum of 1200 SP to spawn.
And jets with far inferior Mavericks likely pay more sp as well. It makes little sense. KH-38 volleys will stil rule GRB.
How about delete the scouting from the game and bots with 2 scouts wouldn’t fly entire game without single ground kills ?
The Vikhir already has a far higher so cost than other helis… a bit silly it costs the most for only Russia no?
Lmao the sound bug is affecting everything… not just Russian things, lovely that you show which side you’ve chosen.
Aircraft running CAS munitions need to be prohibitively expensive to spawn. 8% SP is a start, but ground ordnance needs to put the spawn cost north of 1k. I don’t advocate for removing aircraft from GRB because it does add to the experience and seeing dogfights and low passes is cool af. It’s the over saturation of CAS, especially rank 7+, that makes GRB horribly unpleasant.
If the sentiment of that bothers you, perhaps you’re playing ground battles for the wrong reasons…
Keep buying planes for $80, your opinion is very valuable to us. But screwing you is even more valuable to us.
Keep buying unfinished, bug-ridden planes for $80 with mid-quality cockpits, your opinion is very valuable to us. But screwing you is even more valuable to us.
There is CAS munitions and there are KH-38 instagib air to ground missiles. No need to nerf all. Most air to ground systems need to be operated within ground SPAA range and can be countered with simple smoke screens.
its just KH-38, which grants 6 guaranteed F&F kills, immune to smoke (IOG), unmatched speed, can be used from outside of western SPAA range. 900 spawn point for a 6 kill KH-38 guarantee are just too low.
900 spawn points for a plane with some bombs or laser guided ordnance would be far too high.
I actually think it’s better for them to spawn in the air.
When they spawn in the air, you get a sweet window to SAM the hell out of them (specially when we get longer range SAMs).
However, if they spawn on the ground, they will be able to hug the trees till the very last moment, making themselves immune to radars and SAMs.
Many “good” C*S players already do this; as soon as they spawn, they go down and hug the ground.
The higher they spawn, the better!
All “fire and forget” weapons should cost significantly more than they do now.
They need to be removed from the game altogether.
I just smoked my Flarak Rad and drove away, but Kh-38 seems also to reaquire lock. It indeed got me. Either you smoke and sit still, then IOG gets you. If you move off you get re-locked now?!?!
Its a weapon from hell gajin really needs to do something. Please game mods, hint Gajin to remove this. It needs to be removed or nerfed.
Odds are the reason for the Targeting of the 38MTs ic ause the analytics for the recent matches since the update dropped showed a huge uptick in 38s wiping games. Honestly from the few times I’ve played grb top tier after the update yeah it MT hell.
Honestly any cas has been hell other than helicopters.
Still MT hell. Despite the spawncost increase. Made an GRB air special task yesterday with Flarakrad. Every match I saw massive use of KH-38mt. Always the same, airspawn, shooting off the entire volley, dive away. You see all this with your Flarakrad @ your thermal viewer. The jet, the missiles, unfortnately all out of range of your 12km max range (10km practical range).
It needs a range nerf or all non russian factions need new anti air units with more range. From the ground you have zero chance to prevent them farming their ground kills. Its like the kills are already hardcoded, when you spawn an KH-38 capable jet. Thats why these get spammed so hard.
Its an issue you can’t tackle with spawn points. 1. It nerfs all others as well, who probably already struggle to score air to ground kills with meh Mavericks etc. They pay redicoulus amounts of spawn points for just inferior CAS options. A bit smoke is already enough to counter any of them. 2. Even with more spawnpoints, Suchois with KH-38 getting spammed.
Nope, they just need to remove the MT variants. the ML variants are fine because these require constant lock and in essence function like brimstones or any other laser guided AGM (1 at a time) TV guided or IR guided AGMs imo were the biggest mistake just like Vikhrs were a mistake and that broke Heli EC for 4 years before they added PvE because of there own incompetence
Text updated:
- In Ground Battles, the number of Spawn Points it takes to use aircraft with ASMs with IR seekers has been increased by 8%. The maximum spawn cost (when the Battle Rating of the aircraft is equal to the maximum Battle Rating of the vehicles in the session) with these weapons in Ground Realistic Battles is now 972 SP (versus 896 SP before the change) and 540 SP (versus 498 before the change) in Ground Simulator Battles. This type of weaponry includes for example the Kh-38MT on the Su-30SM and AASM 250 (SBU 64) on the Rafale C F3.
The answer is most likely never. The Naval aiming and the turret basket nerf have been universally hated since their implementation with this patch. But Gaijin, while claiming to care about feedback, does in fact not. They will most likely remain despite being depised because Gaijin already sunk the man-hours in designing, coding, and implementing them. To reverse them would mean they wasted all that time for nothing.
yes - but if they asked prev. the community they would have got a feedback like after the update and might have discarded it.
The aiming change probably should have been something demo’ed/play-tested in the dev server or in a special event and a poll afterwards to see if players wanted it to be pushed through or not. Throwing it players with no chance for them to say yes or no and subsequently ignoring them is…well, terrible. But given the fact that we are on what…week 2 since the update dropped and there hasn’t been any follow up from a dev or community manager on said feedback…we most likely are just getting the middle finger and moving on.
