Update 2.45.0.21

Aircraft

  • A bug that made moving the radar scan zone vertically and horizontally impossible in TWS mode has been fixed. (Report).
  • A bug that made it possible to select a target that had moved outside of the current radar scan zone when switching targets cyclically has been fixed.
  • As it is now possible to move the radar scan zone horizontally in TWS mode with cyclic target switching turned on, the values set by the player for the horizontal radar target cue control axis and the radar tilt control axis are now in sync with the automatic changes in the scan zone’s location due to tracking. Just as they were in sync when cyclic target switching was turned off. Due to this, now when the target track has been lost in the cyclic target switching mode, the scan zone behavior is the same as when the option is turned off — the scan zone doesn’t recenter and stays oriented to where the target has been lost.
  • F/A-18A — a bug that caused the weaponry MFD page to be compressed horizontally has been fixed.

Ground Vehicles

  • XM246 — some armor inaccuracies have been fixed.
  • XM246 — a bug where the retraction of the search radar was not reflected in the damage model has been fixed.
  • XM 246 — the aiming angles of the machine gun on the turret have been adjusted.

Interface

  • When a new modification is researched after a battle, the button to purchase all modifications in the modifications window is now replaced with a button to purchase all researched modifications.
  • A bug where the nation discount label would appear when the research tree was collapsed and would not show the discount percentage has been fixed.
  • The creation of new items from recycled ones is now limited to 100 per creation to ensure the ease of looking at the list of received items.

Locations and Missions

  • Sands of Sinai — small rocks which were blocking the passageway between the rocks in grid square C5 have been removed.
  • Sinai (all missions) — the display of the ground textures from high altitudes has been adjusted so that the textures no longer appear mozaic.

Patch notes reflect only key changes, meaning they may not include a complete list of all improvements made. Additionally, War Thunder is constantly being updated and some changes may not require an update. Changes reflected in patch notes are formed by taking reactions and requests of the community from the bug reporting service, forums and other official platforms into account. Bug fixes and changes are implemented in order of importance, for example a game-breaking bug will be worked on and implemented sooner.

You dont need to creat recycled items into new items all at once.

I recycled items i didnt want and have a few hundred sitting in the recycled bank. I only create a few new items at a time when I need the items. You dont need to do them all in one go.

Alright. I was playing so much ground RB I forgot this was a bug.
Thank you for fixing it.
Finally can use radars in War Thunder to their full capability. <3

Revert the changes to Naval Arcade aiming. It is a massive step backwards.

Also, I played another match yesterday, I can tell they are playing with the auto aiming parameters. They actually made it worse LOL. There is no way to fix the current auto aiming system. It must be scrapped before anything else can be attempted. Without visual references showing the two ship’s movements, this current auto aim system will always be broken and very, very bad.

“Abrams: Some inaccuracies have been fixed” When?

There are new issues with this version update:
Radar scanning range can not automatically return to the center;
The radar gyroscope stabilization function cannot be turned off, and selecting “Off” in the game Settings does not work.
Can’t fire active rounds when the helmet is locked on the target

Gaijin seems to have made the Bf 109F-4s sad in the past few days…

Look at how the landing gear is now slouching:

Beat up server hamsters, not Bf 109s!

I actually prefer the new behavior over the old one, but most casuals don’t use horizontal/vertical controls so its better to make it optional I think

So when are you gonna make rapier missiles actually work?

Buddy, I’m running out of buttons on my keyboard! Can we add an option for players to choose whether they want precise radar control? We really need that radar scan range centering function!

" the scan zone behavior is the same as when the option is turned off — the scan zone doesn’t recenter and stays oriented to where the target has been lost."
Thats cool and all, but atleast for me it didnt do that before unless i cycled radar modes. Now without any further fiddling around with settings it stays in the last known location of the enemy which is incredibly annoying if you dont have controls binded to control the scan zone direction.
Luckily you can just bind a the reset key to same button as the cycling key and it should act the same way as before, but i would have loved to know about this change before trying to play top tier jets

suppose you haven’t considered one scenario: in TWS mode, when constantly switching between tracked targets for selection, most of the time the radar’s scan angle will be dragged to some corner. If suddenly a target appears right in front of you, and you need to readjust the radar’s scan angle back to lock onto it—you press the radar center button, but find that the scan angle doesn’t return. Instead, it keeps persistently tracking that enemy in the corner
The issue here is that the radar scan angle centering function isn’t mandatory enough—it can only recenter when the radar loses the target or is turned off. This goes against the original intention of the game developers. I believe the priority of the radar centering function should be increased
