Who gonna tell them about constant vegetation flickering in long PvE (helicopter / air) sessions without any DX12

Any word on a 2025 roadmap or some sorta birds eye view of what’s being worked on?

Thank you for Bison. Appricate this
When you’ll make the bug report related to that.
Believe they said they weren’t going to do a roadmap for 2025. Personally, I think they don’t want to beholden to anything. Unfortunate because its a very pro-player/consumer move but such a thing isn’t a known staple of Gaijin.

I guess part of this is that people have a tendency to understand “we intend to…” as “we promise to…”. So such actions may help transparency, but can backfire easily.

yea people should really know that intend is not the same thing as promise. quite a significant difference between the two actually

Also Im just hoping Gajin dont disapoint with next Battlepass… Like Im sure they realise these aint it… I really hope so.
Apparently, you really gave up on fixing the Eurofighter’s radar and the commander’s view on the Strv 122B+, which is obstructed by a cloth.

To be fair, roadmaps should only contain items you fully plan to bring to the game. If you as a developer are putting “maybes” on your checklist of new content and or fixes, then it is fair game. I’d even go as far as saying delays are fine. Something set to come out in Q1 ends up dropping in Q2 or even Q3 is fine so long as you are communicating with your audience/consumer base.
If I recall correctly, the main reason we got a roadmap last time as purely for transparency following the economic changes that got Gaijin dragged through the mud. I think it would be a rather scummy move to abandon said transparency because that scandal is far enough in the past. In my opinion, that’s what this feels like. People are welcome to disagree with that too.

“no plan survives first engagement”
I just wish Gaijin had the same comunity relations model as Old School Runescape.
Much smaller development team, yet lots of transparency and effort at making players feel part of the project.

I remember reading that players can even vote on what gets developement time too. I want to say their process was they would create a rough list of things they have planned and then it is thrown to the community to vote on. Somethings get a yes, some get a no. I would agree with that.
Still no fix for the broken EF2000 radar, realy… ?

It is, and while there’s occasional drama over some things, it’s one of the best I’ve seen outside the indie scene for community-developer communication.
The exact system is…
(Polling Changes)
In-game polls will be listed under the following new categories to offer clarity for players:
- Greenlight - These polls show as green in the poll interface and have a pass requirement of 70%.
- Opinion - These polls show as blue in the poll interface and have no pass requirement.
- Lock-in - These polls show as orange in the poll interface and have a pass requirement of 70%.
I’m not expecting gaijin to follow this system, as the conditions that birthed it were quite unique.
Something close to it would be great though. The issue we have is that a majority of content that comes with each update is vehicles. And we kind of got a taste of it with a few things, such as; the severe damage mechanic, the ammo crates, and the APHE rework. However, each of those mechanics had quite a few concerns that weren’t really addressed. I would like to see the 70% in favour requirment come to War Thunder. That way there really is no doubt as to what a majority of players want.
