Update 2.43.0.17

I do remember they were testing it on them, to ensure weight and whatnot wouldn’t break the already super heavy mbt

I am fairly certain the v3 was either 15 or latest 17 for upgrades to be implemented.

When I play my abrams, and lose the loader and commander, I still find myself in rather good terms even with the 10 sec load time, as long as there’s not 2-3 rushing at once.

All the other qualities do make it balanced Tbf.

But I really want to ask gaijin why a bad shot which produces 1 shrapnel fragment will knock out the whole auto loader 😂

Very late 2017 was the very first delivered. So they didn’t get more than the one till 2018. I don’t really count it unless there was more than the testbed vehicle delievered.

That’s why I didn’t say 2014 for the T-14, as they had 12 in 2015

Make sense?

In a T-series tanks 1 bit of spall disables the loader, in a CR2, 1 bit of spall kills you. I have literally been killed before by a single bit of shrapnel from an artillery shell that landed close by before.

I can’t say I’ve played top tanks, but my chally DS seems to tank a bit, unless I get LFP’d or driver hatched. But those are the weak point of course.

45 were upgraded in 17.

@quartas121
Oohhh you know what tank I’d love to see as an event tank? (As an event premium, which is something they need to bring back).

The Black Eagle T-80

(And yes before you ask I’m a sucker for T-80s)

CR1s are pretty decent (though still need accurate ready racks and gen 2 thermals). and the line-up is good, and well rounded. But the 11.7/12.0 stuff. Its a joke, easily some of the worst tanks in game and the last time we made a big push to get gaijin to fix the 50 or so bug reports pending for them. They picked a few minor ones to fix, nerfed the CR2 and then havent done anything in over a year now. Really sucks. Britains tree basically ends at 10.7.

A legitamate play style for top tier Britain is to just run things like the Fox, Scimitar and Warrior and just scout your way into jets and not run a single CR2

I cannot see any data to support that. Nor do I think that’s 100% declassified quite yet. I just pulled the general date off 4 public spruces. That said Oct.2017

I will say the most confident tank I have in killing will be an abrams.

Article mentions 45 tanks upgraded in july.

Same with top tier Russian imo. That’s why I’ve had heart aches by the number, grinding out the Italian tech tree to get that sweet 2a7HU.

As for Russia, I think if they made the T-80U (and newer) reload the correct 6.0 sec load time it would give me a reason to play them.

I usually just run my T-90M, but sometimes 1 life as the T80Bvm isn’t the greatest backup anymore being killed frontally by 2a7s with ease or being out loaded etc.

There’s really no reason to take the T80Bvm over the T90M other than speed. The reload being a 0.6 difference also means there’s not a point to it when everyone else out paces you by at least 1.5 secs as is (2.1 secs in the T90) so you have to take the most skillful shots, can’t be too aggressive, or your an easy kill.

thats a good idea, T-80 my favorite soviet tank

It just says announced in July. That article doesn’t appear to say first delivered date

Looking at more articles looks like fielding didn’t happen till 3rd quarter Fy 20. So some where early summer 2020.

But that contradicts other sources so. It’s entry date is a crap shoot.

Yup. That’s why I go by the 1st delivered plus 6 months. Usually gives a pretty fair assumption. But at least when I was still in, (2020) I had heard rumors we were just about to get our first SepV3s

Procurement is always a mess. God help you if you aren’t the poster boy unit too.

It would’ve been really neat to test them. But as Uncle Sam’s mislead children we never really got anything unless it’s 3-5 years old.

Not to mention they did away with tanks and stuck with LAVs :/

Rah. They were getting to heavy for the LCACs from what I was hearing anyway. Still think they should have took interest in the booker vs canning tanks.
