In SIM we DESPERATELY need all the f14 to go at 13.0 at LEAST and the A-10c to be moved up as well. Red team is unplayale at 11.7 because of the a-10, and is at a severe disadvantage for the rest of the way up to top tier. Too many fox3 on blue side, and none on red side in the 12.7 bracket, and then too few in the 13.0 bracket.

Yes, it does, but no flares. Which is why the A-7E would be better compared to the Jaguar GR1A or AV-8A

Dying to an A-10 in Sim is literal skill issue. They can literally only do anything to you if you run right at em with your radar off or decide to dogfight it like a smoothbrain

Yeah no iv had people flare it because they were actually paying attention, or were going fast enough that it never had a chance to hit em
being able to avoid something with high skill involvement does not mean said thing is fine and balanced at said br, 9ms are hard to avoid in air rb when you have a 3rd person camera and giant markers telling you they are there…

The people i end up killing are Tornado’s who have turned their brain off base bombing, and Mig-23’s who dont use their vastly superior speed to speed past me, they love trying to turn fight the A-10
The skill ceiling is similar to that of fighting A6M’s. Actually have a functional brain, pay attention while speeding past em, and dont turnfight them under any circumstance
It isn’t. 9Ms are extremely hard to avoid and flare even if you know they are there.You often WON’T because the A-10 is ground hugging going 600kph firing smokeless missiles…

If you didnt see the A-10, then you probably wouldnt see the missile regardless of whether its Aim-9M or an Aim-9L. I’ve gotten a load of kills before in the Buc S2B using 9Ls because the target just didnt know I was there. Doesnt make 9Ls OP.
Given the Su-39 I believe is going to 11.3, Id argue that is more OP, as most dont have all-aspect IRs on Bluefor at that BR, meaning IRCM prevents the use of those and between MP, good radar and a lot of chaff, SARH missiles are also mitigated.
R-73s are just as potent
Dude i regularly fly the A-10 at 2km altitude. I delibertly make myself easy to spot and people still act extremely smoothbrained against the A-10. Mig-23’s and Mig-21’s almost always try to turnfight it because they think they can go fast enough to eventually get behind the A-10 again. Hell sometimes i dont even need to fling a missile at em cuz im in gun range of em and slice em in half
