Update 2.37.0.74

It more than possible, grid fins must be capable of that by their drag

In what world the missile that is equal to B variant of AMRAAM gets put against the A one

The 120B did not change its flight characteristics.

But changed in autopilot, maybe bring dual plane fins

In WT.

?type 93 fix when

Does it really have more range than before? Any proof?

Somewhere in one of 77’s discussion was video with comparsion.

In this thread? could you put the link pls

the r77-1 model is in the game but from what I remember they just barely reduced the drag otherwise it has all the same stats as the r77

I cant remember where but in real life there is a writing and a transcript of one of the desginers talking which explicitly states 40 or 45g, read it about 2 months ago, it was a forum involving 3 guys with degrees in physics pulling out declassified documents out of their ass

the r77 and MICA should as the r77 and mica now loft 22 degrees from 5 degrees I think and they both have had their drag reduced by 12 precent

Afaik both missiles are currently identical in-game

MICAs lofting wasn’t changed, still 5 degrees

the aim 120 will still be able to ruin every russian cas players day but now the r77 can do the same, the maximum engagement I have ever had in grb was 25km while us both were going mach 1.2, you will always be able to smack everyone

oh alr, but the missile did recieve a drag decrease

it is better but the new AOA might have dumped its speed as the second the missile goes pitbull I think it unlocks all of its gs, e.g ER allows for maximum AOA once 5 seconds before reaching the target but the r77 allows for all of it at pitbull making it use all 45gs and combine that with the grid fins and it loses speed quickly, in real life this wasnt a issue as a pilot cant pull 9gs for 10 seconds and go into a dive while having been mach 1.3 the entire time as human body and limited fuel

With sustainer.

In game, but irl can be different
