They dont care. One of the many benefits the US has is gone now they cant hinde in false postives.
So many F4´s,F16´s,F15´s fly around in various nations as do Mig´s. They cant hide now and the oposition can PID enemys faster. They can too btw, depending on the match setup.
I am all for a toggle switch so if they like to have so many pings at all times, please.

F-16 can, in theory
If you will use HTS as RWR, and 2 of F-16, you will get pretty accurate position.
a toggle switch for magic RWR filtering of allies would be the same as having an optional nameplate option.

Maybe better to just make a rwr mute BUTTON.
That will not bother you about spamming, but you still willl be able to see missiles on rwr, and if turned on - hear

there is a declutter function on most RWRs, what they do is ignore scans and only report locks.

I’m not talking about datalink frequency being connected to RWR frequency, from my understanding you’d know if a friendly is locking you since you’d see him in the same place on datalink as RWR. That’s not even considering their secret radar frequencies they operate at, where I would assume they’re able to distinguish literally their own jets from others?

None of them is IFF.
assuming the RWR and datalink are connected on the same screen, which is something that only recently happened with sensor fusion. None of this matters for the vehicles we have right now.
Furthermore this has nothing to do with the RWR but with datalink.

correct. RWR does not perform IFF.
Yet he ignored my question. I have much more experience than him using anything with radar. He’s been flying props 95% of his time in sim it seems. Hence why I asked if he’s running several accounts.
