Patch notes reflect only key changes, meaning they may not include a complete list of all improvements made. Additionally, War Thunder is constantly being updated and some changes may not require an update. Changes reflected in patch notes are formed by taking reactions and requests of the community from the bug reporting service, forums and other official platforms into account. Bug fixes and changes are implemented in order of importance, for example a game-breaking bug will be worked on and implemented sooner.

Hello,

Tornado IDS Premium the bomb can throw at match 1.15.

This is a bug?

What’s the limit?

The old single-colour, single-direction-fade, darker-colour-palette damage indicator is significantly nicer. :|

Yes, should be fixed really soon™

Fairly certain we have docs (at least for the RAF Tornado) that bombs can be dropped at those speeds.

Is this a blanket nerf regardless of historical data or will aircraft with appropriate docs be allowed to keep IRL abilities to drop bombs at high speeds?

Pls NOOOOOOO :((((((((

I don’t know for sure, but it seems like the limit in game would be because of bomb stability when transonic. Perhaps Gaijin isn’t able to model this in game, so they just impose a limit instead?

Worked fine so far.

Yes but in real life it could potentially be different.

Edit: nvm according to google it has to do with bombs getting caught in the airflow of the jet. Some can still drop above mach 1 though.

I have Docs for the IDS one, so we could Fight for it xD

huh?

Awesome. If this goes through, then this is the 5th Nerf the Tornados have gotten despite IRL docs that state otherwise

  • Flight model
  • BOL
  • ADVs auto-ACM mode
  • tornado Gr1’s Mk101 engines

Yep, the question is, will gaijin allow those aircraft (which includes the Tornado) to remain

As I said, lal aircraft already got that limitations. Mirage were the last (?) without it (due to bug). Now that’s fixed.
