Up-Tiered Compensation

I thought of An Idea; what if for every .1 BR someone is Up-Tiered they receive a bonus of SL and RP of 10%. Example: Say if someone is flying the F-4EJ Phantom which is an 11.0 BR jet and is very frequently seen in 12.0 BR matches. That player who was Up-Tiered gets a 100% compensation.

Matched with 100% penalty for the top tier player in the game of course - to be fair…

I like the idea of some compensation yeah. It would make it much more logical to fly aircraft that seem to get a perpetual up-tier like 11.0 aircraft.

After last economy update all my 7.0 matches with prrmium tank like is6 or t29 ending up uptiered 7.7/8.0, coincidence? I do not think so.

Who made you sooo easy to be satisfied, War Thunder?
10% bonus is too far from enough as compensation for certain B.R. like top-tier ARB.
In my view anyone who have the courage to fight F14, Mig29 and F16s with 11.0 planes deserves 100% bonus.

I also thought of another idea which is similar but different way as this idea relies on player’s skills, level and luck, similar to newbies facing elites and somehow wins the match…

IF player facing 0.7 BR lower and won the match, it have higher chances to won special item in the trophy box aside from usual like big booster OR a rare 200GE OR even rarer, 1 talisman that’s free to use it on any vehicle of player’s choosing related to its rank vehicles
— IF player uses rank 4 cruisers and somehow won the match, then somehow GOT the lucky talisman… that player can choose any tech tree/event/squadron vehicle on the same rank to put that talisman ON BUT on the other hand its very rare to even get 1 talisman as even getting 200 GE for free is much more likely than it.

Commonly player should be given a higher chance to obtain a rare premium booster of 600%-900% of either RP or SL since its been too long after early 2022 to have such HUGE BOOSTER…
— Most of us can only get 200% booster at best via lucky trophy WHILE 300%-500% is much even lesser chance although anyone can get 300% & 500% RP via Warbond shop with enough WB point, it has common time limit of 3 days…

In short, low BR against higher BR gets some compensation of 30%/50% RP bonus in addition to match results and also a high chance to gain common huge booster ranging from 500%-900% that has time limit of 7 days instead of usual 3…

On the other hand, high BR against lower BR gains 30%/50% SL bonus addition and a good chance to win limited premium booster ranging from 300%-900%, low-tier (rank 1-4) blueprint vehicle of random vehicles & nations, 200 free GE and top rare prize item, free-to-choose talisman which its limit are on rank 6 for plane & tanks while rank 6 naval ship are not YET introduced along with BR expansion

I like your idea in general, but i guess most of your requirements (skill, level and luck) are just to complex to measure and implement - at least the combination of them.

I would make it much easier.

Sometimes you meet planes far below the BR spread of +/- 1.0 BR in Air RB, mostly a rookie invited by friends or trolls trying to get yt content.

If you kill those very low tier guys you get way less score/SLs/RPs than killing a guy within the BR range - so gaijin has implemented a kind of “discount” for such cases.

All you have to do is to distribute a kind of bonus/discount to the 4 steps of a game in Realistic Battle (max +/- 1…0). Example: Br 4.0 kills 4.0 = 100% earnings, BR 4.0 kills 4.3 = 100 + x%, BR 4.0 kills 4.7 = 100 + x + y% and the same for full uptier kills - imho the “rank doesn’t matter” reward is way too low.

You will find a lot of friends for bonus earnings, but due to the fact that there is no “free lunch” somebody has to pay for this, and supporters for earning discounts are very rare…

I mean it would be much easier if gaijin would reduce the max uptier from 1.0 to 0.7 or even lower, but it looks like we will have a new ice age before gaijin will solve the issue…

My suggestion can be considered for all vehicles on a minimal bonus part of 30% increase for 0.3 BR higher and 0.7 BR higher gains 70%…

Getting 100% bonus compensation and even MORE is MUCH welcomed BUT at very least, i hope this suggestion would be CONSIDERED upon future roadmap addition

Alternately, Gaijin should expand more item that can be accessible via Inventory and Warbond. Currently INVENTORY only gives 299% RP booster via GE and 300%/500% RP respecitvely with 10 WB points which is not enough considering rank expansion, BR expansion…

Basically it means that higher rank & BR also means longer and harder to make do w/out higher Booster & back-ups to certain degree, not to mention that Gaijin eventually increase repair cost and RP requirement over time which i hope that its not too high later on

Imho you bonus rates are way too high to let gaijin even think about this.

I meam they argue that their BR setting policy is fine and from their pov it is no problem kill an enemy with a + 1.0 BR higher.

Implementing bonus earnings in this range (+ 30/70/100%) could be seen like they admit that it is really difficult to get full uptier kills - a total different story to the fairy tale the tell us today…

Understood…I simply stated what i thought so far although i HONESTLY don’t care much about this… I also agree with your point so far in general BUT for most of the time, I would HOPEFULLY wanna see Warbond Shop expanded and getting more addition in tandem with higher BR expansion and rank for naval one eventually LIKE HUGE Back-ups that gives 25 UB (Universal Back-up) BUT only once with 800 WB, 800% RP booster and finally special trophy box that gives random rank 1-3 vehicle, 100%-900% RP/SL, 15-25 UB, 1 Talisman (free to choose) and 100-250 GE… Last 2 are quite rare to get by the way as STB item (Special Trophy Box) can only be bought once on shop level 7 and cost 4500 Per BP season…
— Forgot to add, this special trophy box that gives boosters would be premium version that don’t have time limit and 100% booster can be used 5 times, 200% 3 times, 300% 2 times and both 400% and 500% one-use only…
Also, this time player also have a chance to gain 25%, 50%, 100% and 200% booster that affects player’s team via Warbond BUT also only once per season and have 3day time limit

Still… as mentioned… its gonna be a quite loooong new ice age to see that day happen
