I understand that this issue may not appear to be of critical importance, but I consider the Stuka siren to be a significant element of the WWII experience. The Stuka siren has been non-functional since update 2.1, and I initially reported the bug on 2023/09/23.
Game version at the time of the report: 2.29.0.35 Current game version: 2.43.0.60
I have provided videos demonstrating how the Stuka siren sounded prior to the issue (it was highly accurate and well-executed in update 2.0 New Power), as well as a real-life Stuka siren video (with any banned symbols appropriately censored). Furthermore, I have reached out to three technical moderators via private message, but have yet to receive a response.
I fully appreciate the considerable workload and pressure the team may be facing, particularly with the recent updates. However, I would like to inquire whether there is an established timeframe or SLA (Service Level Agreement) for ticket responses, as it would be helpful to receive feedback or an update regarding this matter.
They were based on speed soi war thunder is accurate in how they are triggered.
The sirens were powered by a propeller to spin a pneumatic siren. The sound only became audible over certain speeds because of how the siren was geared, at low speeds it wasn’t being spun fast enough to be heard over engine noise
The Jericho siren was the same type of siren as air raid sirens of the era, the same type of siren is used in the modern day as “flood warning” sirens across the world, those are instead spun by electric motors or hand-cranked.
I get the same with the default air controls conflicting with the new additions…
Can’t wind up on the airfield holding brakes, can’t throttle up and roll right, pull up or down… All because the shift modifier makes those keys all different and non-responsive to controls.
The Stuka siren, known as the Lärmgerät Interestingly, this siren continues to be used today in some regions as an alert system, particularly to warn communities about potential floods.
