United States WR (Win Rates)

You are extrapolating your ten matches to thousands that Thunderskill has???

No, that project isn’t accurate since it doesn’t include all matches played, but it’s far better than your 10 games analysis.

If we wanted accurate WR metric someone would need to get match resoults of every single match played as well as nations played in that match.

Independent data has been a much better source than Thunderskill for the last 3-4 years at least.

Such as?

The problem with win rate is that there are so many factors at play which determine it which makes it difficult to use in any meaningful way.

The biggest factors that spring to mind though at top tier are:

  • Nation popularity (appeal to newer/lower skill players)
  • Nation premiums (ODLing especially)
  • Nation line-ups
  • Nation CAS and viable anti-air vehicles
  • Combination of nations in teams
  • Map types
  • The vehicles themselves

True, but not 10 games

Data Analysis #2: What are the real win rates by BR, and how good is Thunderskill really? WT Data Project uses the same data api as Thunderskill, but their website actually reflects current data out of the game on a more up to date basis. Another thing that changed for Thunderskill is they only track the players who physically have used their site before. Not to mention Thunderskill now requires a premium mode to use older data in the charts.

I was asking for what this independent data is that you were saying is a better source.

I linked you a forum post going over Thunderskill and WT Data Project. They are two different entities using the same info provided by Gaijin, but WT Data Project is more up to date and can show you more relevant statistics. The Website for the database is at the top of this forum post as well as hyperlinked in the one I linked. Now If we are going off player collected raw data,( Not sure if this is what you meant) then its even more accurate in a lot of scenarios. For example, when the R60s were underperforming for a brief while in 2020, I collected data for 25 matches myself writing down the Missile # / Target / Range km / Alt m / Speed MPH /Approx. AOA / Hit Yes or No. It’s in how you collect and use your data at the end of the day.

This is not what I asked.

You said that independent data is a better source than what we have (to clarify I do not view the data project as independent to thunderskill as it draws its base statistics from thunderskill).

And I am asking you to provide these better sources so we may use them. (Unless you’re trying to claim that one person noting results for a handful of matches is more accurate, which I hope you’re not).

So Leopard2A7V,STRV122 series are not better than M1A2 family? lol

What I am saying though is WTDP by technicality is a separate data collector than Thunderskill and is much more accurate in doing so. Thunderskill itself draws data directly from Gaijin itself. WT Data Project uses the same API Thunderskill uses to grab the data from Gaijin. It’s not using Thunderskills data because neither one of them owns the data to begin with. It’s how both sites interpret the data to you which is very different. Thunderskill in its current state does not use all of the data its given and even says so on their own site with a disclaimer “These may be very different from the real, because we are monitoring only those players who use our site.” When it comes to win rates, you are correct in that this isn’t the proper way to go about it, even if you played 100 games as a data set. It’s still biased to a single player and is only focusing on one parameter which is wins to losses. I brought up my own data, because in that scenario my raw data collected was more of use than anything you could have extrapolated out of the game through any other data form as there was no DCS style replay viewer in 2020.

If the weakspots weren’t so viable to hit all the time on the M1 family, it would probably be better than them.

Both Leo/Strv has better armor coverage while having similiar/better fire power, spall liners and same mobility.

Abrams will never be better than those tanks unless it recieves major rework and buffs and even then it will probably be on par with them.

Thus why I said if the weak spots weren’t so viable. We all know the turret ring is way too easy to shoot, missing documented lower front plate upgrades, spall liners, and more.

I do regard the WTDP as the best data we have available to us at the moment. I just figured from what you had said that you had something else in mind.

Even if all those artifical weakspots fixed Abrams will never be better than Leo2A7V/Strv122 series.

At best case scenario it will be on par with them, either way your claim is wrong in that sense.

When the T14 was announced by Russia USA did take it as a threat as the “proclaimed capability’s” were “on pare” with somewhat modern tech which could pose a problem in the case of a conflict. but now since the videos from Russia came out half of the “proclaimed” stuff don’t even work for example I believe the T14 was supposed to have a hard/soft kill APS but instead of it being automatic it was Relient on the crew to hit a button which would make the system “work” but that would mean having the reaction time of a god which just isn’t realistic. which would mean if they added this tank, they would probably have to go off of the info Russia gives us, and if that info can be Provin wrong it will be in the game or have to be tweaked. and I think we’re all know Russia tends to “play up” there stuff a lot. :)

This just isn’t true bro. It doesn’t happen every game or else the win rates would be inflated out the ass. BUT when it does happen probably once ever 10-15 games the chances of the other side losing are insanely high. I’ve had this match up even when I’m not playing USA and I’m playing China and I’ve never and I do mean Never Won. if you win though give out some pointers.

Thats why I said I want people like you to try it for yourself to see if you get similar results bud. I know 10 isn’t nearly as much as that website has but even when I wasn’t trying to get data don’t seem like much has changed…

All I got to say is Russia has the best cas atm and the best AA the Adats Is a fuckn joke compared to the panstier_s1. the number of times I’ve been killed by a Su or a mig sitting further than my missile can reach and I get blow up is probably nearing the 1,000s. Yes, yes USA has missiles that can reach Hella far but the main people they face like Russia has the capability to shoot me down while I just can’t. :( its sageeeeeeeee also I see ur name is casino lemme put 500 on black?
