If that were true then wouldn’t it still make more sense to have western aligned Asia together rather than in an amalgamation tree?
You can play custom battles with a unified Korea if you want. Not sure why a Korean war scenario should be cancelled for people just looking to play for the sake of this tree.
This game has never been about realistic war scenarios, you can have the US and Germany on the same team in WW2. If its really such a big deal for you its likely that north and south will be split for sim battles
Blatant lie. That’s how it started, but has slowly diluted into losing it’s identity because opinions like this. Go check the official WT about page.
“collaborate in realistic competitive battles”
“Over 140 maps representing the main historical battle theaters.”
“just as the real-life battles were fought”
Is this suggestion popular generally? Yes. After the announcement I saw word ‘Korean tree’ everywhere.
Will this tree bring enough unique vehicles? Yes. Only if we combine both.
Does both korea has place to go other than united Korea? No. Maybe NK can go to china, but china still has a lot of addition left. SK has nowhere to go cause US tree is already full. And Japanese tree is getting SEA.
I would say his suggestion is very logical and I see no problem. And Gaijin already confirmed the united tree.
Kinda funny that Koreans are all for united tree but some foreigners hate it cause it ‘hurts’ their immersion.
I mean, Gaijin already confirmed it was going to.
Cause reality is->If both were separated into 2 other nations->Korean media ain’t gonna be happy and trust me, the influence is going to be harmful since it doesn’t merely affect Korea but other asian countries would be untrusting of Gaijin as well.
Captured vehicles are always useful to dig into as a engineering point of view but cloning one is not great they would also be useful for military text books. Likely gaining access to the captured tech will be something many nations would be interested in (China, Iran, North Korea etc.) but these wont be game changers and there own nations industries can likely make something on similar standing but they may find some interest in optics, sensors and ammo. You likely wont see a North Korean Bradly but concepts may be taken.
The one thing that was desired and known is the Javelin which where captured and sent to other nations. The Javelin is very much respected at stopping armored thrusts without more complex or specially trained ATGM teams. So a cloned and improved Javelin derivative will be something seen more out there but drones have kind of become the norm overshadowing the Javelin. But Javelin is still important.
Abrams tanks have already been exported and captured previously so any information would have already been taken from that. The base Abrams is not the newest top secrete thing out there its not like a F-35 being captured or something.
