Its much better than adding as Sub tree to Uk and surely looks big enough to be independent tree.
Lynx could be tech tree vehicle tho.

Was this the suggestion you said still had the Danish Leo2A5DK you had to change?
Seems like I got here too late lol
I’ve voted “Yes, like this” but mostly because for either Canada or Australia/New Zealand to work as a sub tree we need nation folders, and since Gaijin hasn’t implemented that mechanic this is currently the best option for them. Otherwise I’d be fine with either this standalone tree or as foldered nations with the UK.
The 3 nations tend be be overlooked as though they did have there own unique stuff the bulk was from UK or USA though the war. The nations though did produce domestic equipment and prototypes during the war and after. Infantry is a different thing though forgotten weapons digs up all sorts of funky small arms.

Fym “Not like this”? You made the suggestion???
Remove ZA and India and have them be in their own tree. ZA + Jordan will be peak.
Might be for the same reason @GTP_Paulie-psn said “not like this” considering they worked on the Aviation TT together ^^

oops
Yes, it is, and no, it still is a 2A5DK, for the tech-tree 2A6M CAN image.
Was out all day, so couldn’t do anything.
The one Australia tested? But is, also not domestic to them?
My opinion on non-domestic tested things is that they should be event vehicles.
The poll is set up to allow for than one answer to be voted for. So I did both.

Update #1:
Replaced the Leo 2A6M CAN image with what should hopefully be one of the 2A6M CAN and not the 2A5DK.
Added credits for @GTP_Paulie-psn because, despite both of us doing a final review, we missed the fact that I forgot to credit him.
(will likely add and adjust vehicles later)
What’s the Wildcat 30 doing in the tree then? German turret, Swiss chassis, that was proposed to Canada, at most tested, although I’m not certain that the vehicle itself was ever even in Canada or operated by a Canadian crew.
+1! This or nation folders would be great!
According to CaID’s suggestions on the old forums, both of the Shark AA were only tested by Canadian crews in Belgium.
As for the comment on the Lynx, I was mixing two different things together:
Testing vehicles, they were full services with others - great event.
The Lynx itself is not needed due to the Redback.
The only major issue with the UK is half the TT in game would become useless because “British crown” ruled it at one point. I think the UK could definitely have India maybe but all of the common wealth like Australia and NZ is just dumb.
Australia goes to US as ground sub tree and to the UK as a Air sub tree.
NZ can be inter mixed with ausie vics
Canada goes to the UK for ground sub
Ofc india either USSR or small chance but to the UK
This is all and opinion ofc im willing to discuss
The sources included in the post don’t state this, in fact, they contradict it. The available sources say that the Wildcat 30 was offered to Canada in 1984, while the Belgian firing trials had taken place previously, in 1983.
I’m not saying it’s impossible, it may very well have happened. But there currently is a complete lack of evidence supporting it.
Australia and New Zealand are only two of 56 commonwealth nations, they are a small selection of the commonwealth, and together with Canada form a well rounded, and relatively unique vehicle selection for Air, Ground, and Naval.
Splitting nations between major trees, as you have proposed, is perhaps the worst option for them. Not only do you have to research multiple trees just to get your nations equipment, you cant create national lineups and play the vehicles together. WT is a game of nations, hence the whole purpose of Tech Trees being nation based, and these nations should not be treated any different.
I am also of the opinion that Aus and NZ are a package deal, and should not be split up no matter what.
Yes and no, the biggest issue is the moment these vehicles go to the UK like the M1A2 AIM, and SEPV3 it makes the home TT useless to grind. Might as well remove the US tree if everyone is getting there top tier vehicles ATP.
My personal opinion is that there’s more to a tech tree than only top tier. E.g. Germany is also currently exporting their top-of-the-line MBT’s, and would thus not be the only ones with the Leopard 2A8.
