Unfair matchmaking - question

I don’t understand…
I have planes that are 5.0 BR or less, in order to play in the 4.0-5.0 matchmaking class.
Since the 5 is the highest class, why does the game pair me with players that have BR 6.0?

Thats called uptier.
You can face 1 br above or below of your highest br vehicle

Let’s try to use a little bit of logic.
You’re on a plane 5.0 BR and want to play with a plane 4.0 BR, but you think it’s a bit unfair that 5.0 BR plays with 6.0 BR? Great.
