Underwhelming SPAA

I don’t see why not, even if it’s just a placeholder.

There is no excuse to leave those nations out.

Oh i agree, was just giving an logical tie in. Id rather something thats bettter than what they have. It could be like the drone where its on the lineup.

The 1st dev server usually doesn’t contain all the content coming with an update. Might be added on the 2nd or 3rd dev. We’ll just have to wait and hope.

BOL pods if we didnt have them do you think they would be 4 times less effective than standard cms?

If these had been added to the F-16C they would not have been nerfed

Not a chances, maybe the SAMP T is ready but Raven/Sky Sabre wont be

Sweden also receives an new SPAA, the EldE 98, which is equiped with IRIS-T missiles. Even though everything’s a little buggy and definitely not final on the dev server, that little thing looks really promising. It has only four missiles, but it’s capeability more thank makes up for that.

The best of them (in theory the German one) was nerfed and has a shorter range than the Pantsir. The missile may even be better, but what’s the point of putting 12km of range on a missile that has 20 in real life and the Pantsir continuing to be the best anti-aircraft overall. Or am I wrong?

They already confirmed, Britain,Italy and France are getting them in September, so for the next 4 months, the anti air gameplay for those 3 nations is going to be completely void, it’s ridiculous

I think you might be a bit mistaken, they said in the Russian stream it’s range is much greater, around 40km

The 12km range your looking at is the range of the seeker , the missile flies with DL & INS before the seeker turns on

No they said nothing about Britain, they said France and Italy will receive the SAMP-T using the Aster.

But I would expect some kind of SAM for Britain maybe India or SA have a system.

I will be incredible dissapointed and angry if an indigenous sam system is bypassed for some Indian or south african one. It would be indefensible.

Furthermore, having air defence neutered until september would be a complete joke.

I have lost all hope in Gaijin and only one nation in game will use ASRAAM…
SkySabre should have come the mechanics and animations are basically the same as IRIS-T/Spyder systems

It wouldn’t be so bad, if they hadn’t crippled the ADATS. You can’t even see the goddam missile past 4km, and that’s the thing they expect us to use? I get the flare burns out in real life, but the operator isn’t guiding the missile in real life.

They should have cut the badger, or some premium vehicle if that’s what it took for all nations to have gotten a decent air defence system.

They likely ran out of time and the minor nations had to suffer. Im shocked Russia didnt get one

We’re gonna agree to disagree over the Eldenhet, 10km range is made uselss when it has problems hitting targets at 8km lol

Hence me saying they should have cut something else. :)

At the very least, they should copy-paste the american system into other nations until their’s are ready.

Shouldn’t France receive their vl micas?

Thats an option but BVVD mentioned Aster and SAMP-T

We’ll have to get it at some point tho

If they bypass the sky sabre for an Indian or South African addition, I expect a very large amount of backlash, especially after making the British player base wait until September to be able to play anti air
