Just checking if anyone else has experienced the same situation. The other day while playing AGB at about BR4.0 with a Chinese lineup, I was trying to target an enemy tank at around 700m in my M4A1. I could view the enemy tank from third person view which was in line of sight and my turret was facing directly at the target but each time I switched to sniper view my turret would rotate uncommanded by between 45 and 90 degrees to the left away from the enemy tank. I was open and not in close proximity to any structures or objects that would cause the turret to deviate. This happened about 5 times. When I switched to 3rd person view I’d be facing the target again and as soon as I switched to gunner/sniper view the turret would again rotate without my control. By the last time, the target finally spotted me. Just wanted to know if anyone else has experienced similar or whether it was just a software screwup.
probably u got auto target selection, i think u can unable in battle settings or something like this
Thanks, but that isn’t something I use, and it only happened when I was trying to aim at this one particular enemy player. I had about 7 kills before that in the same match without issue.
Sounds like a bug, there is a very similar issue on the LAV-AD where if you’re in gunners sight, aim at a target that you have locked in tracking and click fire the aim sometimes randomly jumps in a random direction and a random distance. If you have access to the LAV-AD you can try this in test drive, it’s very inconsistent so you might have to test a couple of times to see it happen.
You can bug report it here (just search a bit first so that you don’t report something that is already reported and known about): (Gaijin.net // Issues)
