Unbalanced baguette launcher

The Char 25T is a french light tank, it has a improved american 90mm with 209mm of pen and access to APHE, it also has a 4 second autoloader and is placed at a BR of 8.0.

Tank for comparison:
Soviet Object 906 (Light tank)

This soviet tank is placed at a battle rating of 8.0
And has access to a full stabilizer, 4 second autoloader and a top speed of 74kmh,
The gun is a 85mm D-58 cannon which has access to a APHE shell with 245mm pen and a muzzle velocity of 1040m/s.

Back to the french thing,
The Char 25t does NOT have a stabilizer or a top speed of 74kmh, the gun is slightly worse than the one on the Obj 906 and is also placed at a Br of 8.0, at 8.0 is where modern armor starts showing and having a stabilizer or enough penetration is basically prioritized at a Br of 8.0.

The perfect battle rating for the Char 25t should be 7.7.

French tax. The obj 906 needs to go up or the char and amx50-90 need to go down.

Yes.

Your baguette launcher won’t get evaporated by .50 cals and autocannons tho and that engine in the front might actually absorb a shot. That 906 on the other hand will blow up if anything above 20mm hits it frontally or 12.7 from the side.

That’s just about the only justification I can think of for the same br, that char 25t’s turret face kinda looks bouncy as well but I don’t really play that br so i cant say much else

It doesnt have good armor

still won’t be evaporated by stuff under 30mm or be easily overpressured, that’s all that makes the difference in a light tank when it comes to protection

Oh we’re balancing by the absence of armor now?
Ok ELC Bis should be 1.3 then, considering a fart can kill it

Bro nothing is balanced about France.

The AMX-30 S DCA is 8.7 and isn’t stabilized. It doesn’t even have APDS. Gepard is at 8.3 lmao.

calm down bud, just pointing out how it might be justified, no reason to get all excited.

30mm overall basically means you won’t be a cherry just for any vehicle with a 12.7 to pick off, same reason why it was so important to have composites on the tam2ip and bmd4m.

Sure it might not even everything out but it certainly makes a difference
