oh yeah for sure, sure you’ll always have moment with lag spikes and BS PL but for what this game lacks almost everywhere else they do pretty decent/good with quality stuff id say.
Made me chuckle a little bit but the bottleneck isn’t too bad. At least it’s not a GT 1030.

that is true however this game is globally played.
A friend i occasionally play with (until another friend of ours sent his old laptop to the phillipines for him) was on atrocious hardware as good PC kit by western standards is often beyond what most can get there. As long as those in such a situation get to play still thats what matters most

Honestly as long as you can have fun playing War thunder, Or what passes for “fun” in war thunder I’d say that’s a win, or just in any game really

Outside of horribly badly optimised AAA games a 3060 12gb runs every single game at high settings well over 60fps and thats with me refusing to use DLSS. even something only half as powerful will be able to run my almost maxed settings at 60+fps
if the computer can run windows 10 its almost certainly going to do at least a stable 20fps on potato mode. thats fine enough unless youre being a PC master race snob about it.

playing on Xbox, I don’t care about PC’s that much I can buy an XBOX for about lets make it a high $600 and then buy a KBM for maybe like $50 tops, depending on what you get, although I’ll use my Chromebook (XBOX cloud Gaming) for times I’m away from my XBOX, I’m sad to say though its not fun on XBOX anymore now that I’ve used KBM, KD has significantly gotten better LOL, IMO

PC isnt very affordable now (thanks AI bubble, cant wait for that to burst) but theres still playable options for anyone looking to buy a gaming system.
Im sure the original nintendo switch would kinda run WT if gaijin ported it, the switch 2 can for certain as thats more powerful than the ps4 pro

If stable 20 fps is fine then everyone should be locked to that.

Tbh, it’s getting hard to play with medium/low graphics on my PC which handles a lot of games well.
It feels like Ill have to switch to ULQ soon 🥲

thats where ULQ is fine as its actually required. Its when people with PCs like mine use it to abuse missing snow/foliage, shadowing or lower poly geometry that its an issue

Remember, we can’t have people exploiting their system to have advantages over others.
Only way to achieve this is to have a single setting for everyone.
Also, it’s quite funny to see people arguing about what’s fair or not in a game that doesn’t even have a proper MM and only the most basic rules have to be met before someone can queue in. I thought this game was casual or something like that.
casual play is still ruined by exploits.

I also played in ultra low for years, but decided to switch for a visual improvement over an advantage.
Also I remember ultra low have a disadvantage with thermals and NVG, so its more like a trade.
Complaining about low quality abuse again? Sure, some people abuse it but hardly and, it makes the game less enjoyable. I only use minimum graphics cuz it’s the only thing I can run
