AB-13 and Azovets as well! Hopefully the gravehawk and dragon spaa can join once more information is released on them.
If an eastern/central European tree comes into being, maybe the Ukrainian M1A1 SA-ukr and Leopard 2a4V could be foldered with the polish Abrams and Leopard 2PL?
Guess you’ll just have to wait and see when I get a working version ready :D
Can’t wait!
Also this is a huge long shot, but if you think it could fit, maybe the Baltic states could be included?
They may not be many vehicles, but they do give quite a few low tier ground, air and coastal options (plus the Latvian scimitars are apparently equipped with spikes, though I haven’t seen any images).
Yeah I will add the Baltics though (I planned on adding them, just forgot to update my list earlier), the likelihood of seeing the Vilkas in any type of research tree is non-existent due to it being an event vehicle.
How much nations?
- Poland (Main Nation)
- Czech Republic (Sub-tree Nation)
- Slovakia (Sub-tree Nation)
- Ukraine (Sub-tree Nation)
- Bulgaria (Sub-tree Nation)
- Lithuania (Sub-tree Nation)
- Estonia (Sub-tree Nation)
- Latvia (Sub-tree Nation)
Roughly per the long-term leak. Will NOT include former-Yugoslavia nations.
Very nice line up!
What is the need for so much nations?
Tbh this amount for a single TT looks quite an overkill.
- CZ/SK can technically become its very own TT. At parts it might be thin, but overall doable in both Air and Ground.
- Bulgaria has a handful of vehicles of its own, but I doubt it will have enough for even a single line (might only be treated as a singular vehicles here & there).
- Lithuania, Estonia and Latvia are also in a weird spot as, if we look at original/modificated designs only, they are in the same boat with Bulgaria.
- Ukarine would make up for quite a number of original designs for late mid / high ranks as, looking roughly at what Poland offers, there is possibility of removing tanks with minor/no differences from Soviet and US TTs and replacing them with more unique ones.
Still, if we couple Ukraine and Poland and keep the amount of vehicles from both suggestions, higher ranks will appear too compressed with vehicles (which is not bad in long shot but would be rough to grind through) and lower ones will be too diffused with complete C&P. If we take CZ/SK as well, it will equilibrate lower ranks but will absolutely bloat top ranks with that amount of vehicles (even if we take original designs only).
I would guess that Poland, Czech Republic and Slovakia would be the largest roles across the tree, Ukraine would bolster the high tiers. The Baltics and Bulgaria are most likely to be used for the early tiers as the Baltics have a few tier 1/2 options (I’m not well versed in the Bulgarian vehicles).
The problem is the 5 line limitation imo or the need to grind x amount of vehicles to move onto the next tier.
It’s pretty much both, but as we are taking into account current limitations and mechanics (there is no 6-line or nation folder option yet) on which we ground these suggestions, I don’t see other ways of implementing them nations otherwise
Well the Baltic naval forces are easy as (ifrc) there are two gunboats (viesturs class minesweepers and the LKL partizanas) while the EML Trom can act as a fast gunboat.
(If subs are added the the ronnis and valek class subs could also be added)
Ground is a bit harder as barring the vilkas and scimitars with spikes, the other viable vehicles (Landversk L 181, M27/28 and Vickers 1937) are all low tier, which PL/CZ/SL can all cover.
I’m unsure about the situation in low tier air so I will just list the Baltic aircraft:
Vef I16
Vef JDA 10M
Cukurs Cbis/C6
Anbo 41
Pn-3
It is a shame with the limitations, but even if the Baltics cannot get into a tree like this, at least most vehicles can be given to other nations (UK and France helped with some of these vehicles as an example)
@THEPolishThunder @Savage-SRC
It’s a trial based on the long-term leak list. Seeing what I can do with it.
So far with what I’ve made, it’s looking like the USSR/USA/Germany trees in term of tech tree structure. Still able to retain the 3 vehicles per rank/line, not killing players with grinding. I’ve already done all 8 ranks, now it’s just filling in the gaps. It actually doesn’t look to bad tbh, but there’s a few things that bug me. Also 5-lines is plenty with all the nations.
As for standalone CZ/SK or standalone Poland, it doesn’t work. I’ve tried multiple times already in the course of 4 years in any way I could realistically make it work because I want to see them work. It’s thinner than Israel in some parts or even lacks a Rank which isn’t sustainable for growth especially profit which would drive development. That’s just the ground tree, without a comparable filled air tree there’s no point. The standalone trees that are out need reworking of some vehicles BR/Rank. They’re either put too high or too low which if corrected, leave Ranks blank. My Visegrad Tree suffers from some similar issues which I have to iron out. If you want to look at somewhat of what an independent tree would look like for Poland, CZ/SK, etc. nations, look at my Visegrad suggestion and remove the other nations from it. The Visegrad suggestion was my answer to try and get them in-game sustainably/fairly.
This is why Poland and Czeckoslovakia should be put together as a tech tree, low tier would still be thin though, this is why Hungary was needed but Gaijin decided to do what gaijin does best and give it to Italy, I doubt that a nation like Ukraine will be able to fill in the low tier gaps like Hungary could.
Hungary 100% should’ve been a part of PL/CZ/SK I agree. One thing that’s nice is that with Ukraine and the Baltics, technically we have the capacity to close some of the gaps utilizing Soviet technology found with them and not with Warsaw Nations though, I’m not going to saturate the low ranks of the tree with it. I’m going to balance it out. Just seeing how things play out.
Honestly I could see Romania helping low tier as well.
Too bad gajin thought Italy needed more even more nations (even though it has Hungary and some elements from Spain, Portugal and Turkey)
Romania is locked away along with Hungary, they’re minor axis nations that “support” Italy according to Gaijin
