The amount of trial vehicles that people want added + is being added, kinda indicates that it doesn’t really matter that much anymore

Though you could argue the Russians trialed it at their proving grounds.

I made an assumption based on this that you wouldn’t be up for trialed vics since they were neither domestic nor used
Actually, if we go by the other Pantsir suggestion for USA, it does mention it being tested by US forces in Germany, if that’s anything to go by
Theres no evidence of it even being able to function since it was damaged before it was captured. Also the fire controls are credential locked though I’m not sure if Gaijin takes that into account.
I’m guessing it was somewhat functioning if they bothered running tests on it, unless they were running tests on scraps for whatever
As for the fire controls, yeah that one seems a bit iffy since i don’t know any vehicles in a similiar situation
Only thing that gets somewhat similiar that i can think of is the King Tiger sweden got
Guessing it was able to fire but they didn’t have any shells to test it
So which is more important in this case, being able to fire in general but not have the munition or not being able to fire but have the ammo for it
I wonder if the UAE bmp being added with the same chassis weapon system dilemma means this pantsir will be added to Germany and soon 👀

Yeah I can’t see them adding a UAE Pantsir to Russia (they don’t need it and have much more interesting designs, add the rest of the early BMDs snail!)
Germany technically could use it but doesn’t need it and SPAA in general aren’t very popular so it’s unlikely to be added like the BMP-3 AMV which as Smin stated was added because it fits the criteria for an event, it’s a vehicle type a majority like, it doesn’t diminish the main nation by taking one of their few vehicles and locking it behind and event, and this allows the introduction of yet another neat nation into the game in one form.
IMO I’m against event vehicles from non subnations currently as unless you are Israel then your nations vehicle gets locked forever behind a different nation rather than going to your nation.

Ehhh, i would say Germany would greatly benefit from the UAE Pantsir, as Germany is lacking good short range air defense, and it would definitely go to Germany considering well

The AMV was put together in Finland. The MAN Pantsir was put together in Russia.
Are you trying to say that the UAE Pantsir would go to Russia because it was assembled in Russia? I doubt Gaijin would give Russia a 3rd Pantsir when they already have the S1 and SM-SV. Additionally the assembly rule doesn’t seem to be used by Gaijin. For example look at the T-90 Bhishma, the first batch was fully assembled in Russia but its in the British Tech tree.
Why would the Bhishma be added to Russia? India was already slated to go to Britain at the time and the T-90S can still be added at any point.
Also yes I can see it being added to Russia but a slightly modified one with a Janus radar set as a folder vehicle under the Pantsir-S1.
