UAE Pantsir S1E based on MAN SX 8x8 truck

Not really Gajin does what they want with them

sorry to tell you, but like mytho one of the main british community members said.
Both australia and canada are wild lands, they go wherever

As it stands only india and sa are subtrees of UK, nothing more

you seem to not have read the proposal. the MAN SX 8x8 which the pantsir system of the UAE is placed on is a german truck system: From there comes the reason for its implementation in the german tree. This is the same reason why TAM series and Class 3 (P) have been plaved in the german tree , because of germanys involvement

+1 for Germany.

Aside from it being a MAN chassis, Germany has no involvement in this vehicle, you also can’t compare the Argentinian TAMs to it as those vehicles had direct German involvement. These vehicles were also modified in Russia.

Tula’s Shcheglovsky Val in Russia.

It makes much more sense as a folder vehicle under the Pantsir-S1.

I said its the reason behind the suggestion.
I didnt claim it being a good one.
The main objective was when the pantsir was/is dominating and lthe western countries just dont have an equivalent

While objectively yes, its also a no.
That one would be complety senseless. They have to few differences on them besides the chassis which results in a pain in the ass copy past grind with no reason to realy play this one.
One of the upgraded pantsirs would make much more sense for russia in the far future.
Or a tor m1 before or foldered to the pantsir

Yes, there’s really nothing to be had from former French colonies. Though could add vehicles from the certain parts of America that were a former French colony :P

Spoiler

It’s a joke before anyone gets angry.

Id like to potentially see this added to Germany as they do not have any other AA to be added at this time.
Severely lacking in AA, and will only get worse once EFs and F18s come, the FlaRakRad does not cover it anymore.

It’s barely been able to cover since Sky Guardians

Theres an argument to be made its currently the “best” NATO SAM ingame, simply due to the fact it has smoke grenades, which allows it to suevive a bit longer vs the hoardes of Su-34’s, but its not really saying much…

Smokes realy dont do anything either anymore.
A lot of the missles have iog, and if you move out of the smoke they reaquire the lock

Seems to work fine here:

I do get what you mean tho, there are very easy ways to counter smoke, but it is better to have it than none at all atm.

The flakrakrad is very solid, not sure who is arguing against it.

Its alright, but lacking in most every way against all other at SPAAs at Rank VIII

eh

+1 for whether the UAE goes

+1 Since the FlaRakRad lacks alot of abilities, the IRIS-T is a Missiles carrier capable to only kill planes above 1-2km reliably, the Roland system has those disadvantages in comparison the the Pantsir:

  • Radar
  • Only 2 Missiles before Reload
  • Range
  • No Guns

Adding a Pantsir in between the IRIS-T and FlaRakRad would be a good way to balance some stuff.

I’m a bit divided on this one, the UAE itself I can see sharing the fate of something like Singapore for example to fill in gaps in relevant nations, but as for the necessity I’m not quite sure because I haven’t played German SPAA in that tier, does it really need a Pantsir?

Well in my opinion it needs something, many other nations have either a better Missile based only system like Ito-90 or has a Gun and Missile System Combined. Germany does not, the FlaRakRad just does not fit the 11.7 BR. Yes statswise it is good, but so is the Pantsir Statswise bad.

My theory is.
Pantsir = Popular, so many people play it even though they are not familiar how it works
FlaRakRad != Popular, so people who play it actually know how to play it.

Put the FlaRakRad at 11.0 or 11.3 and add the Pantsir to Germany. If there is not a better option for this place.

You kind of piqued my interest in the subject so I went on a little digging to see if it is really the only option, I couldn’t find anything modern short of the IRIS-T SLS (which isn’t fielded by the German military, or Switzerland, which is suboptimal) or the Skyshield (not yet employed and it’s reach seems to be too short), which lead me to the East German S-125 Neva with the SNR-125 radar towed by something, which, whilst not conventionally launched undeployed from it’s transport trailers it can do it in theory as the missiles were launch-ready according to the 'GPT, and with the addition of multi-vehicle SAMs, I think you could perhaps supplement the SAM that way.
