Type90 is one of the most unfun tanks to play

Done.

If I send the 8-kill game with a Type 90 you will simply move the goalposts further by asking for a 10-kill game next. I will not entertain such conversations. :)

was it a full uptier? did you even fight a single 12.7 tank? like theres no proof here at all

Only 5 kills were specified. Nothing mentioning 12.7 tanks. :D

im not talking to you cuz you know the type 90 isn’t a great tank my point still stands it should have stayed at 11.3 where it’s actually useable and fun to play i shouldn’t have to sweat 60 gallons to get 5 kills

You’ll never truly learn how to enjoy the Type 90s if you surround yourself with people who can’t use them to their full potential. :)

Yea thats the point, it sale season rn, u literally cant face 12.7 tank or even if u do there is only like 2-3 of them, most other enemy are 12.0 or 11.7 prem spam.

He also doesn’t seem to realize that an 11.7 vehicle is meant to be worse than a 12.7 one :D

I played the whole morning 9 out of 10 times, I got 12.7.

So you can’t, yeah?

You’re doing the equivalent of calling Mike Tyson a bad fighter because he sucks at Muay Thai. :)

Can you get 8 kills in the Type 90 at 12.7 yes or no, or are you just rage baiting here?

Let us re-center the discussion on the tank itself rather than the player. :)

Discussing player statistics is counterproductive to the topic at hand :D

Well, you’re the one who said it’s just fine at 12.7, just like the TKX, so why can’t you prove it? I’m just asking that. ;D

Because player performance in one tank is not proof it is good or bad. I have gotten 10+ kill games in the Chi-ha Short Gun, yet that does not affect the mechanical statistics of the tank. :)

Yeah, I know statistics, but you told us it’s a great tank at 12.7. I’m asking why you can’t show it to us or simply, isn’t it great at 12.7? :D

Because player performance does not dictate the tank’s statistics. The Type 90s simply have a niche in agility and firepower that make them unique and therefor not recommended to play them as if they are an Abrams. Is simple, really :D

You don’t strike me as one to believe a T-80BVM is a trash tank because multiple players often get a 1 KD using it, yet why do you seem to believe someone needs 8 kills in a Type 90 to prove it isn’t bad?

Type 90 was much more unfun before decompression, and you faced 12.0s that are now 12.7s 24/7.

Does not mean it no longer faces them, but the chance your matchmaker won’t launch you straight to 12.7/13.0 (due to CAS) is greater than before.

But I’d agree that Type 90 is a fairly niche tank. Essentially Leo2A4 with 4 second autoloader, thermals and better round. That’s it.

Maybe better turret and gun traverse rates would make it a worthy 11.7, but yeah, if you are new even a spaded premium Type 90 isn’t a thing you master in a few battles.

And yeah, this thing in stock is a pain. Never had I an urge so strong to go through modules via GE to properly destroy enemies (hello, spaced/composite armor and (N)ERA at top tier)

Because it’s impossible to do you’d have to be so lucky. DM33, *8 sight, Gen 1 thermal, no armor (worse than a Puma) at 12.7 it’s bad. Even someone with two brain sells can figure that out.
