This may be an issue with irccm missiles in general, but why cant the type 93 lock onto planes when it is cloudy? There is absolutely no way this is realistic when i can visibly see the plane. Worse yet because the missiles are crap, even if i do get a lock, the planes are too close and too low and the missiles miss. Why have cloudy maps if it prevents spaa’s from doing what they are meant to do
this is an issue with all IR missiles in the game not just irccm
that is such a stupid feature and seems highly unrealistic when you can clearly see the plane with your own eyes

And also the optical lock thing, I can see the heli at 2km away but the seeker can’t see it? How?

Yeah, especially considering these are not IR missiles, they are optical imaging missiles with backup IR for low visibility.
A dark plane in front of white clouds is not low visibility.
