Tutorial training for new and returning players

Gaijin should forcing new and returning players do training tutorial before jumping into any battle. New players see WT as WoT compared in gameplay as mechanics.

Forced tutorials would be nice, unfortunately this is gaijin. They profit on people not knowing how to play the game.

Even if they’d make the tutorials, they’d most likely be terrible anyways

They pretty much force (highly suggests) newbes do them and dangle out free GE to get new players to do the tutorials and the first 10 games are against bots. IDK how else you incentivize it in a game like WT without a storyline.

Problem with forced tutorials is they’re often not actually optimized for the user’s control scheme and are sometimes (or often) buggy.

I’ve tried getting a friend into WT to play ASB with.

They showed up with their HOTAS.

Gaijin forced them into mouse aim flying tutorial that (as a totally new person to flying propeller aircraft with stick and rudder) was way more difficult than it should have been and I couldn’t even take over to instruct them personally myself.

Then to make it worse, Gaijin forced them to play Air Arcade which is hard enough even as an experienced full-real controls player. It was legitimately impossible for them with HOTAS after only playing Elite:Dangerous before as anything that approaches a “game where you fly.”

Also the tutorial for spin recovery is… “it works but it’s not good.”

Nah. Not for returning players.
It should be a blessing to stay away from the game should it not?
