Have you too been killed by someone you can’t see or hear even though they’re RIGHT next to you? Don’t worry, it may not be your fault. Turns out, it’s part of the game’s coding.
Brought to you by “Gladiator” on YouTube, it turns out Keen Vision not only affects being able to see someone but also if they even render in for the audio! Thought I’d add this for all the folks wondering why they’re watching tanks render in and out or can’t hear someone right next to them.
Surprised me too. I thought it was strictly for arcade but turns out it’s mandatory even for realistic and simulator battles just to know someone is there. I wonder if this is from the anti-cheat rendering change.
It’s part of the internal anti-cheat solution.
Cheaters can’t see tanks if they’re not visible.
LOS renders the tank, and “audible range” renders the tank.
I’ve mentioned it so many times and been attacked so many more times for even saying it that it feels like I’ve been vindicated…
Even though theree appears to be a bug with the system that’s being demonstrated with the video evidence here as it’s not working the way it truely should in some instances.
