Theirs plenty of evidence that the F-14D is compatible with AIM-120A if not for the software update but it shouldn’t deny AMRAAMs for the f14D
The F-14D(VF-11) should be changed into
F-14D(R) w/amraams so it’s at a different br instead of having 3 F14 in one br and making the f14B completely useless
Big +1
there should be an F-14 in game with AMRAAM, as it was very much tested and planned had the Cold War not ended and budgets shifted.
Gaijin has already set this precedent numerous time with both the Yak-141 and Kh-38MT implementation.

Exactly it didn’t go into service at least the f14 did and had 90% of the capability to use Aim-120A an is a less of stretch unlike prototypes that could be found in game
there is a huge difference between player want and need this or that.
so tell me, do you want it because you want it or because the tree need it.
so far everything named was not added because we as player wanted it, but because the tree needed it.
the yak-141 was not compatible with existing, but here we are

it was, same radar as some models of mig29.
I think the F-14D can benefit from having Aim-120A and I think their are players who would agree
wasn’t canned until factors well outside of its program
it wont, f14 airframe cannot handle 13.7 or more.
If the Su30 mkk/mk2 is at 13.3 so can the f14D
funnily enough, that’s the same with the F14 aim-120 test
It is necessary as a counter to the absurdity of the Su-30MK premiums.
It is grounded in reality to a far higher degree than any prototype slop Gaijin churns out.
free food for EFT (non ASEA) or Su-30SM
I agree but gajin seem pretty persistent on letting it be at 13.3
doesnt mean that we should expand the problem into other trees. its not a excuse.
