F90 is not aim120.
f90 is fast, have better range. and only no skilled player lose to this missile.

So? Aim-120 for Tomcat was canned due to factors well outside its program (the Soviet Union collapsing)
I’m against all 'could have been ’ BS btw, including Aim-120 for Tomcat, but the Yak-141 is even worse BS than that

Yet a good amount of people die to it and aim-120a may not have range against the f-90 but it sure can mcm it and counter attack it like you said if you know how to notch a f-90 won’t be a problem so the aim-120 is more dangerous than the f-90

Not really it’s a thing that can happen irl especially to missiles as big as the aim54,rim174B,r37m etc
not true for some missiles. exemple, r77-1 only can intercept at max speed on mach 3
same for soem missile.
I’ve definitely seen r77 mcm aim54/f-90 so I can definitely say missiles can mcm in game it just situational
I personally think that the premium F-14D should get the Aim-120s, as we did pay money for it.
It wouldn’t come this update, development takes longer than that.

Yak-141 didn’t set precedent, never once.
Kh-38MT didn’t either.
No vehicle nor weapon has ever set precedent.
Yak-141 was added in the same was Ho-229 & Kikka were.
That F-14A can come later.
If the F-14D gets 120’s it’ll just be food for any post 90’s platform. Give it 9P’s, but don’t give it 120’s; however the data link for the P’s wasn’t available for the 14D.
There should be decompression and clear seperation in technological eras.

I don’t think that true if F-14D gets aim-120A I think it’ll hold its own at 13.7 if it even gets placed their since it also doesn’t have that much going for it and could arguably go 13.3 because as of right now you can find su30mkk/mk2,j-11a,jf-17,f-16 ADF, f-16D, and ja37d1 f21 and few other fox3 at 13.3 and 13.7 witch for a 13.0 plane is a common br to fight against. also technically the f14D is a 20th century plane platform as that was the whole point of it’s upgrade was to keep it up to date with digital tech and was supposed to be like the f15E and carry different type armaments until it got cancelled
Also for the aim-7p-2 I do think it has the dL channel aim-7p-2 entered service since in January 1993 and the DL channel for it is supposedly not the same one for Aim-120A witch usn got till sept 1993 and that one doc doesn’t talk about the block 1/2 missiles it only talks about aim-7P also for the f/a-18C early it also Designate the aim-7p as mh
AMRAAM testbed was F-14A block 65 which is one of earliest build of A model…
Since it was NF-14A, I don’t think people would like to play 13.X BR games with APR-25 that is same RWR with A-4E.
