in fact, you just need to wait and “wallet warriors” will disappear from the top tier themselves
I agree with you, perhaps a limitation from playing GRB with only one tank in that tier would help. At least that would keep more competitive play safe.
Not by choice…
How so? Think they’ll get tired and quit? I usually see around 6 Clickbaits with level 50s or lower playing them per battle. Unfortunately I think they are just too many of them.
So many good solutions have been proposed but all would hurt the sales of top tier premiums, so Gaijin will never consider implementing them.
The most likely solution for this problem is to add premium packs of 3 vehicles at the same BR, so new players have something to spawn.
I vote the opposite: People that leave games when they can still spawn more vehicles ARE the problem of this game and are a big reason why USA is struggling in ground at higher BRs. Keep spawning like T-1000. Crew lock should be increased 500% for those who are found to one-death-leave on a constant basis - 1000% for those who think they cannot compete in up-tiers and just bail instead. And you think you’re joking with your username because you play top-tier, while the joke is on you because USA has terrible winrates at top-tier. No one is forcing you to play top-tier USA ground. So many good line-ups for USA, and that’s the one you want to roll with? Got that Abrams poster on your wall, aye? Lets be honest, Gaijin is doing you a favour crewlocking you out of top-tier USA battles. They’re trying to get you to wake up. When I play USA it’s generally around 6.7-7.7, and it’s a good time, to say the least.

I praised Gaijin for doing this with the Tigers pack. Inclusion of the Ostwind II was/is fantastic.
So you say leaving in one death is “poisoning top tier” but then complain that you aren’t allowed to leave after one death without repercussion?
I am not sure if “wait” is a viable strategy.
The best example was the issue with German/Italian prop fighters at 5.0. 85% of my matches in the Italian P-47 at 5.0 were full uptiers in 6 vs 6 matches allocated to another poor soul and 4 Ju 288s fighting 6 US/UK fighters. In 40% of my matches my whole team was dead before i was even above 4 km alt - so i had to land and j out as it makes zero sense to fight in such conditions.
The only difference to the “turn-off crew lock” request as stated in the OP is that the time to climb and rtb was about 6-7 minutes and the game ended almost immediately after leaving the match.
And this lasted for at least 3 years and only got better with the Yak-3U spam - which effectively introduced a hard deck limit of 7 km as this things eats you alive at lower alt…
You can literally tell 5 minutes into a match if it’s going to be a loss or not. Why should I be outgunned once all of the premium users loose their top tier tank? You then get them spawning in low tier garbage which just feeds the enemy SP. Basically half the team is gone within the first 5 minutes. I should just keep playing and incur repair costs, marks on my battle record, and fight a battle I’m already aggravated playing? I play to have fun, not be beaten like I’m already a dead horse.

8 People sub level 80. Yes it was a win but think of how much SP the opposite team acquired from free kills. I wouldn’t mind if it was one or two on either team but this is every single match. A guy lost his clickbait spawned in an m16 and drove out into the middle of the map like he thought he was able to do anything.
Some of the most fulfilling battles are where you think the battle is lost but you hang in there and end up winning by the skin of your teeth. But given the actual winrates of US vehicles at top-tier, you’re probably right. I wouldn’t subject myself to that rubbish, and generally avoid BRs where these premium players amass. Though, if you have premium account then repair costs are not even a factor, and sometimes you can get a bucket of SL and RP while being spawn camped at the end of the battle. Especially if they’re rolling around your spawn not taking in account your spawn protection. I always have the vehicle to spawn if I need to take out enemies rapidly within the spawn.

Getting spawn camped ended up netting me nice SL and RP, as the enemy got cocky in their spawn camping.
I do understand your frustrations, but I’d never become a one-death-leaver regardless. I’d sooner just not play that nation at that BR until things improve. If I had my way, they would have never added high-top-tier premiums or squadron vehicles to begin with. They do nothing for the game and only bring it down.
There’s a fine line between between the two, I can usually tell if I can do anything with the way things are going. If it’s completely hopeless (example 4 people left on my team 8 on the other team) I leave. There’s little point in continuing.
I do this as well when I’m committed to a game lol
On some maps you can pretty confidently tell that 30 seconds after spawning, depending on where your team goes after spawning.
I doubt anything is changing soon because Gaijin wants money and they’re willing to sacrifice the gameplay for that.
Take the crew lock and play some other nation.
I noticed you only really play USA ground. I really can’t recommend it enough to diversify. Give some other nations a try, you’ll be a new man.
I agree with you, I just want to 100% finish US first
another Russia bias
I find your name quite funny, idk why these guys are coping, I also understand where you’re coming from with leaving the battle and getting crew lock but that’s the whole reason they added it, so you can leave because of a bad team
You’re in for a struggle my man as Haijin will constantly be adding new US vehicles, especially with the purchasing power of the US player base.
I’d follow the good suggestions of playing other nations as at least a way to take a respite from the frustration of US top tier. It’s a lot of fun with the vehicles available and you start back at low tier where the plague of ODL is minimal in my experience.
I’ve created camouflage line ups across most nations where the goal is to unlock all the paint schemes not locked behind the GE pay wall. It’s a nice break from top tier and a good way to challenge yourself.
Good luck and happy hunting.
The problem? He found the solution.
No hes part of why people leave, when a team from the beginning has had some bad sport leave at the very start its giving them less of a reason to stay
Why would you stay? leaving is the solution.
Because Im a good enough player to take on an uptier pretty well
I’d believe you if you weren’t a Britain main who has a negative KD on damn near everything. There’s no reason to spawn a second time in a clickbait team.
