Turkish Ground Forces Tech Tree

someone should make video about these game developers should see what we want

Who thought of combining the vehicles of Kazakhstan, a CSTO member and ally of the Russian Federation, and the equipment of Turkey, a NATO member country?

Besides, Kazakhstan’s airplane is already there as a stock USSR tree

Come to notice that all Kazach vehicles present are either export variants of Turkish vehicles or vehicles modified with Turkish help/ by Turkish companies.
Kazachi SU-25 being in USSR tree isn’t indicative of anything either, just that it’s a non-Russian SU-25.

The T-72KAE is as much Turkish as it is Soviet. T-72 base, refined with Turkey.

However, in the case of the UK, the T-90C, although fully owned by Russia, is not in its possession.

Similarly, the Hungarian Leo2a4 and all the following ones will be in Italy, not Germany, even though the latter made them completely.

I am not against some kind of event\premium vehicles jointly developed by Turkey and Kazakhstan, but it is incorrect to make a full-fledged subtree.

According to your logic, the part of Kazakhstan’s equipment that has nothing to do with Turkey will be at other countries?

I never justified a Kazach sub-tree.
I simply stated that there is precedent to add all these vehicles to the Turkish tree.
Perhaps I could’ve clarified that.

idk man kazach sub-tree is far avay from now… first Turkish tech tree should come after that we can discuss about that

but we can add Azerbaijan tech tree as a brother country

They and their handful of unique things? Nah

Just like we don’t have such equipment mixture in-game right ? Like Italy does not have ZSUs, T-72 or Israel don’t have any T-54s, Germany does not use Migs and this list goes on. NATO vs Warsaw Pact matchmaking is long gone, that is irrelevant.

US and UK had Israeli tanks as premiums remember ?

How so ? Soviets has nothing to with it except designing T-72 30 something years ago.

I’m not sure what you meant here, sorry.

There is literally 3 modernised T-72s, rest is still Turkish-made vehicles having them does not have that much negative affect if it does any.

I’m talking about ground vehicles, there is no other unique Kazakh vehicle could be added, I specifically stated only Turkish related Kazakhstan Army equipment would be included in Sub-Tree. Air or helicopters on the other hand is entirely different topic to discuss.

What makes Azerbaijan eligible but Kazakhstan does not ? Turkey and Kazakhstan have more ties in terms of defense industry at the moment. There is like total of one Azerbaijani vehicle with Turkish weaponry, be sure it will be included.

Turkish Aviation Tree is being worked on and will be shared soon!

There are many vehicles in game like that, and they are often in the trees of the countries that are modernized them, I do not get the logic. There are T-54s in Israeli tree and T-72s as Finnish Subtree in Sweden.

Going in more detailed in Finland, they are only related to Sweden by geography yet Western Sweden get’s to enjoy Finland’s Eastern vehicles, which are not even related to Sweden.

There are worse case scenarios in game, and I honestly believe that Turkey should get it’s Kazakh Subtree, as it is in way better condition than it’s ingame counterparts.

There are already examples in game and the original host relation situation is way better in our Turkish tree imo. If there are points of yours I don’t get, please do share them.

That really depends. Kazakhstan is only related to Turkey and Russia (as major countries), Russia does not need more identical tanks (by that I am talking about real real identical), and Turkey should get Turkish modernized Kazakh T-72s in it’s Kazakh subtree, along with domestic vehicles of Kazakhstan if there are any.

There are multiple key original/modernized aircraft in it, but you are right about Ground Tree being more large and original.

I also think our Helicopter Tree has very high potential as well.

I’m talking about the CSTO. It’s a functioning alliance.

The origin of the car is not important. India too has more defense ties with rf than britain. However, the all russian t-90s ended up with Britain.

Kazazstan is a member of the CSTO right now and is a de facto NATO adversary.

You are kidding to add it to a NATO country.

Functioning alliance bar the fact that Russia let Armenia and Azerbaijan (two CSTO states) wage war together

So functioning that not long ago two members fought each other.

I’m saying the same thing again, NATO vs Warsaw-Pact (or whatever organisation Russian aligned) is long gone concept. You can fight in a Russian & American team against Chinese & Japanese teams, do you really thing that is accurate depiction of real life politics ? Real life politics generally ignored in War Thunder.

Yet again, Russian (or Soviet Union) has no hand in KAE modernisation, if there would be a Turkish Tech Tree, it should be where it end up.

Since Gaijin introduced Rank VIII for Ground Vehicles, we’ve been working on re-adjusting our Tech Tree project. Initially we really thought we would see 12.0 and 12.3 as new top tier battle ratings yet snail decided 11.7 enough (it definitely is not) for the current addition. Battle Ratings of our top tier vehicles adjusted to fit in-game tech tree but will be update once we see higher battle ratings.

So here is Turkish Ground Forces Tech Tree with Rank VIII:

What’s In This Update

  • Rank VIII and Battle Rating Adjustments
Introduction of Rank VIII for Ground Forces allowed us to decompress the cluster at the Rank VII. We made necessary changes to the Tech Tree make it more appealing and easy to navigate.

  • New Additions
We strive to add new vehicles every update to make it interesting and increase overall capabilities of line ups. In this update we’ve added total 7 new vehicles (well actually 6) in different classes. Also we eased number of Altay’s by reclassifying similar variants.

Altay T1 (P)

This Altay is not necessarily new addition either but a replacement of several Altay prototypes. Altay T1 (P) replaced Altay T1 (Prototype 2019) and Altay T1 (Prototype 2021) as differences between both vehicles were minimal. Gaijin can pick from three different Altay prototypes to use in this place, but we opted to use IDEF 2021 Prototype simply because it is bridge between Otokar’s and BMC’s Altay.

M113A2T2 (Rh-202)

Quite obscure Turkish modification of M113A2T2. It was spotted on what seems like an oath ceremony. It seems to be fitted with an open-topped turret with twin 20mm auto-cannons. From Turkish Army inventory we can infer that auto cannons are either Oerlikon GAI-D01 or Rh-202.

Pars 4x4 (SANCAK-30)

New variant of Pars 4x4, Pars 4x4 Sensor Reconnaissance Vehicle, was presented by FNSS during IDEF 2021. It is fitted with FNSS’ own SANCAK turret system armed with VENOM-LR 30mm auto-cannon. Although it is classified as reconnaissance vehicle in real life, it would work as great anti-air with target tracking capability and rapid 30mm auto-cannon.

𖤓MT-LB (IMLS)

In Kader 2018 ASELSAN showcased their capabilities and a capacity to modernising Soviet equipments. MT-LB is one of the vehicles which ASELSAN was modernised with their cutting-edge technology. This MT-LB is fitted with ASELSAN’s Igla-Missile Launching System effectively turning it into a deadly short-range anti-air vehicle. Reason behind this addition is that we are trying to allow Kazakhstan Sub-Tree to create plausible line-ups. It would perform as Soviet version of ATILGAN with similar capabilities. Since it is folder behind ATILGAN it does not make the grind difficult if don’t want to use it.

𖤓Arma 8x8 (VN-20 CM)

Kazakhstan Army has been extensively testing Arma 8x8 with variety of weapon platforms. Latest weapon platform Kazakhstan tested Arma 8x8 is VN-20 Combat Module. VN-20 CM is quite similar to Russian Bakhcha-U turret system except VN-20 CM is more technologically advanced.

M60A3 (ERA)

Turkey has been trying to find a way to breath a new life into their large M60A3 fleet for quite some time. There has been many attempts to modernise workhorse of Turkish Armed and this is one of the more simple ones. This M60A3 is fitted with ROKETSAN ERA all around of both hull and turret. Armor scheme is quite similar to proven M60TM’s armor scheme yet it seems it is lighter. It would be simple addition to tech tree either as premium or event vehicle.

☪︎BRDM-2M (Mizraq)

BRDM-2M (Mizraq) is the first ever Turkish-Azerbaijani vehicle introduced in our Ground Forces Tech Tree Project. In ADEX 2016, an unique version of Azerbaijani BRDM-2M was presented. It was fitted with Mizraq Turret System armed with ROKETSAN OMTAS medium-range fire-and-forget ATGM and UMTAS long-range fire-and-forget ATGM. It would be perfect event vehicle or potentially a tech tree vehicle as eastern-equipment alternative to Kaplan-10 (TMLS) or (ARCT) to create more immersive line-ups.

From my point of view the tech tree should start at rank V.
