Turkish Ground Forces Tech Tree

All German and America vehicles Where designed with turkish Technology Like the Israeli Sabras With their own Technology and config. The low br. vehicles could be copy Paste, but Türkiye had no own tanks at the past. There was only one Tank Concept which was Never build Its the Kirkkale Tank.

That certainly looks quite clean and tidy. Your team certainly did a fantastical works.

Though, as you have already mentioned, rank 8 for ground might be needed to unclog some of these vehicles to make room for future 12.0+ BR vehicle in the future as well as something between 10 - 11.7 BR. As evident by the huge Altay folders in rank 7, I think a more even spread might be needed to not make one line seems “heavier” than the others.

Thank you for the appreciation!

We’re currently working on a tree with new alignment that suits the new foldering on roadmap, we will also include BRs over 12.0 and a Rank 8 on the new tree. Thanks for the feedback! <3

I honestly didn’t notice many differences from the previous proposed tree.

Cannot deny the fact that there are a few direct copy pastes in Main Battle Tank Branches but they are required for the sake of integrity of the Tech Tree. Also numbers are not that high, in fact pretty close to in-game tress such as Italy, Israel and China. Not the best but there no other option.

Definitely, there is also small issue in Anti-Air Branch too. Gaijin’s decision to increase folders is quite nice attempt but introducing hard limit of 3 vehicle/folder per rank is kind of limiting and results in kind of messy folders. (Like TAM and Radkampfwagen folder or adding PRC Main Battle Tank tank ROC Line) All Gaijin needed do was to folder related tanks and leave other as they are but hey lets limit numbers artificially.

This version still following old Tech Tree style of Gaijin. Tanks comes after related tank. Although AHT is not directly related to M60TM their operational use is similar so we’ve placed it there. Unless we see another UrbOp vehicles, I don’t think there will be new addition there. Plus AHT is still too good to ignore, it would worth the grind.

Thank you for the positive criticism and support

Well there is not that much change to speak of except increasing number of folders. Due to increased number of folders, few vehicle’s Rank and placement changed. Other than that, as you’ve said there is not that much change, there is no new vehicles, no BR changes and very limited placement changes.

In this update, which was not that long ago, we’ve already added 5 new vehicles and massive BR changes. There are still more vehicles and we’ll introduce them eventually. There are few freshly revealed vehicles but they either way too powerful and advanced for War Thunder’s current form and/or does not have available reliable information.

I feel like some of the event vehicles can be moved into the TT now due to the changes on how TT will be structured though i do like that you are already doing that prior to that. Also here is some suggestions to fill in the TT in the form of some Azeri vehicles (mostly to fill in the Kazakh line but can be it’s separate in the near future)

ZKDM

T-72 Aslan: Azeri T-72 Upgraded by Elbit and Rafael that first saw combat service in 2020

Azerbaijan also used Turkish made weapons mostly in the form of armoured cars like the Otokar Cobra, also they produce Matador and Marauder MRAPs under license but i am do some more research if they mounted weapon systems mounted on them, finally Azerbaijan does produce armoured vehicles of it’s own in the form of the Tufan (atm it is only armed with a 12.7mm RCWS but it is still a good idea to keep tabs on it incase if a more powerful weapons is mounted on it in the near future like an ATGM or autocannon),

I dunno, thats what the Land Forces Command wants everytime.

At least compared to Israel, they seem more original tbh.

Yes, we are working on a new version where the new tree changes on the game are taken into account.

We haven’t thought of adding Azerbaijan to our sub-tree line because our land vehicles aren’t much related and we didn’t really wanted a Finland/Hungary full copy paste scenario, but the ZKDM and T-72 Aslan seem considerable, even though Aslan might go to Israel since it was modernized by them.

We are currently researching on the topic if Azerbaijan has utilized those Turkish vehicles for anti-tank, anti-armor or infantry upport roles for posssible introduction to the tree.

Thank you so much for the feedback and information! <3

There is three main reason actually; budget, operational needs and technical capabilities of M60. Obviously, Turkish Armed Forces have some budgetary limitations. During 90s, Turkey acquired approximately 900 M60A1 & M60A3. Since then M60, especially M60A3, has been used in close fire support role. Turkish Army uses artillery and such heavy fire, M60 with 105mm cannon fulfils this role perfectly. Coupled with its low maintenance costs, good firepower and okay-ish mobility, M60 is just the tank for the job.

During its service life M60s received numerous big and small upgrades as well as extensive modernisation. Due to sheer numbers, replacing all of the M60 was never really a feasible option. Instead, older M60A1 were modernised to meet modern standards with Sabra Mk.II modification. M60A3 on the other hand, never really received a proper modernisation, though there were attempts, up until this year. Also Turkey has wide borders with unstable regions, so there is a need for large number of tanks in different roles.

It should be noted, M60A1 and M60A3s have not been used as frontline tanks for quite some time, most of the time they’re used as close fire support vehicles or stationary guns. M60T/TM and Leopard 2A4 & 2A4T1 fulfils frontline roles.

That is quite feasible and possible especially considering there are a few more vehicles left out of Tech Tree due to being way too similar to multiple vehicles.

Problem with the Azerbaijan right now, amount of related vehicles is quite limited. On top of my head I can think of only two right now. Though Gaijin’s approach to implementation of vehicles seems to be changed with T-90 in British Tech Tree, we still stick with our initial approach:

Considering Kazakh Sub-Branch already has T-Series tanks, we might add Azerbaijan’s unique tanks if we ever decide to change our stance.

There is few more “unique” vehicles of Azerbaijan, problem with them, they are not related to Turkey or Turkish Arms Industry at all. We’ll note your opinions for future reference, thanks your valuable contribution

Looks like a R3 but way more deadly hah, this one is definitely going to the list

Is this a special modification for/by Azerbaijan? If it was a general modification by USSR/Russia there is a less chance for it to be in Turkish Tree. We will try our chances though.

Thank you so much for your suggestions, feel free to come to our server if you have more useful knowledge you can share <3

Do you think gajin will make a whole new Technology Tree or a sub tree Like hungary? And how much time will it take, that a new Technology tree announcment will be given? Is it 100% sure that Türkiye will be announced? Is there any WW2 Vehicle produced by Türkiyes own factorys? Do you think gajin already had a look to this topic? 🐌🇹🇷

Gaijin is very aware of the Turkish playerbase, as evidenced by their Turkish cinematic.

I don’t doubt that Turkey will be added as an independent tree someday, can’t think of anywhere else they’d fit tbh. Maybe as Israeli sub-tree, but that’s a fairly big maybe.

But Gajin said in a reportage with TRT1, that many turkish thinks will be appear in future.

Yes? That’s what I said I expect will happen.

It is undoubtable that we will receive new trees from Gaijin, whether being subtree or not in the future.

Each end of year, a new tree or subtree is announced. This still does not mean there won’t be multiple trees/subtrees in a year of course.

I am pretty sure they will cover every single nation that suits the game one way or another in the future, and undoubtedly Turkey is one of those nations. Time will tell us when it will be added, but I predict it to be end of 2023 or end of 2024.

Also, Hürriyet made an interview with Anton Yuditsev, where he confirmed that they are planning to include more Turkish content in the future.

Yes, Turkey produced German Go 145 A’s in Kayseri airplane factory, along with British Hawk IIs and Polish P.24A/Gs. Turkey also produced their own 50/75mm tank ammonution for their Panzer 3/4s.

Definitely haha.
