Turkish Ground Forces Tech Tree

USA, Germany and USSR are last nations which would need a subtree, they are pretty well-filled already, have a lot of potential additions and large playerbases.

Depends on what aspects.

USSR is really well filled. They don’t need yes.
German air was once problem but now Switzerland fills it well too.

For USA, ground and coastal needs subtree. Absence of hull-reinforced MBT(even M1A2SEPv3 won’t be in the level of current Strv122 or Leopard 2A7) and 4.3+ coastal ships.

no never in the same TT the backlach would be too big and also greece and turkey have the same shit in the end it dosent make sense to put them together

yea greece and cyprus that means in ground Leos2 and T80s and in air more f16 mirages, f4 and rafales

I can’t speak for costal, but I certainly can for ground. Ground TT definitely needs to be filled out more, but we have tons of domestic options which would do exactly that, Gaijin just needs to ACTUALLY add them. I have seen how Gaijin implements sub trees as of recently, I really do not want to see potential domestic options be replaced by copy paste garbage.

Because they are distant predications. Plans changed over time and they’ve been right with their leak lists time and time again, to which they are reliable in that regard. As for distant predictions like this, they have a large gap of time for plans to change (especially if there’s negative feedback to the leaks).

The Snailmine server or Gszabi is as reliable of a leak source as you get, it’s not official ofc and not treating it as such is logical and understandable, but it isn’t exactly unreliable.

Since Turkiye is hopefully coming, I do wonder what will happen to the existing Turkish vehicles ingame like the M60 AMBT or F-104S TAF? I really hoped it would be a new tech tree but gaijin is too busy making copy paste premiums so that will have to wait or never come true.

M60 AMBT is not really Turkish, neither F-104S TAF to be honest. Anyhow, both would get Merkava treatment probably; if you have it you get to keep. If you don’t, well you cannot ever (except for AMBT, you thats a coupon vehicle).

There are a lotta nations that could offers quite nice Tech Tree, hell even implemented Sub-Tree could’ve been a lot more better if it was not all copy-paste stuff.

Its not like none of them had unique stuff, don’t get me wrong I’m not really against copy-paste stuff. If a nation used a vehicle, then it should bu included.

i mean turkey paid for them so they are (think of it as it is your car how much you will modify it , it will be always yours not the company that build it), and the F104 and the heli are already in the italian TT that they will probably put turkey

As far as I know, Standard Bio only marketed it, it was still L3’s M60 Destroyer.

Considering both of them are premium it not much of a problem. Even if they were Tech Tree vehicles, they could be hidden similar to Italian aircraft in German Tech Tree.

i an no expert but isnt it a turkish m60 that was sent to israel and israeli made the prototype but in the end turkey order new Leo2?

turkey have like a million different m60, the best one is the one that look like T90

For me, subtree is not acceptable. Its better not to have any vehicle in game than being subtree to another nation.

You are probably mixing it with Sabra. M60 AMBT was marketed by Standard Bio in Turkey.

Israeli modernisation is Sabra, which was chosen by Turkish Armed Forces and some 170 M60A1 were upgraded to Sabra Mk.II standards, designated as M60T. Modernisation was planned to be continued with M60A3 but Turkish-Israeli relation got soured and project completed with initially ordered 170 M60A1. Turkey did order Leopard 2A4s from Germany around same time.

For visual reference:

M60 AMBT

M60T, In-Service Upgraded to TM and later T1 Standards.

M60TM, In-Service Upgraded to T1 Standards.

M60T1, In-Service.

Exactly my thoughts, well said.

We also got a suggestion for that one too. M60A3 Next Generation (P). Still being tested by Turkish Armed Forces, this version we’ve seen is lacking some elements, so I’ve opted to suggest it as is and will be suggesting production version too.

what if as subtree for Italy

Italy already has two nation, isn’t that enough ? Before adding anymore half completed stuff, they should be adding unique Hungarian & Romanian vehicles.

Can’t say for all Italian TT playerbase, but it would be nice to see more Italian stuff, it isn’t like there is nothing left to add.
Plus if they add Turkish subtree it’d be another focus on high tiers with a lot of copypaste, but Italian TT is seeking for low-medium tiers additions way more imo.
