Its impossible to take off on the tu95 in most maps. Same with landing, its impossible to land the plane due to the physics. The wings will easily rip off if you are just cruising. Bomb load is also not historic, tu95 was able to carry WAY more bombs
Try shutting off the engines from a good distance away and gliding to the runway, attempting to land as close to the beginning of the runway as possible. Now, the part about easily falling apart is true. I think that’s a bug because I receive a critical speed warning right after takeoff and it disappears suddenly.
On certain maps with mountainous terrains, airfields are placed extremely close to mountains. If you somehow manage to land your tu95 on an airfield and then try to take off, you will get slammed into the mountain.
Oh, I’d forgotten about that point. There’s that swamp map that shows that too.
What if the Tu-95 got a similar spawn as the bv-238 after crash landing on an airfield, as soon as it’s repaired it’s immediately spawned in Flight above the airfield
thats an issue with more planes than the tu95 btw
The TU-4 can’t take off in Spain
I agree. I don’t think it’s modelled properly.
When coming down from high altitude, this thing does not want to slow down for some reason. I’ve shut down my engines, tried to rudder kick to bleed off speed, but it’s so fragile you either over speed, or rip the wings off if you try to turn at speed.
it is historic
the in game version does not have the external hardpoints to carry more bombs
so it is limited to the capacity of the bomb bay
The way it’s currently modelled, I wouldn’t doubt if it was a feature, you would rip the wings off at the slightest turn with a full bomb load.
Sadly, regarding the payload, it isn’t even accurate to the known sub-variants of the aircraft, as I mentioned in my previous statement here:
If you’re interested, I also have a bug report regarding its missing radar and gun-laying radar. I probably need to make another bug report about its missing missiles at some point as well, but the overall modeling is currently quite poor currently.

It’s an airliner with a bomb bay… Also I can’t imagine any situation where I cannot takeoff with it since it takes off so quickly.
Landing is just a matter of throttling down far away.
Taking off though, hold the brakes and then throttle up, when you get to max RPM, then release the brakes. Helps with some aircraft.
Bomb load you’ll have to bug report
Afghanistan. Only map where that is usually an issue. But not a Tu-95 issue, just a general, heavy aircraft issue
i heavily doubt that the internal bomb bay cant store mor bombs. for the big bombs sure but the 500 and 250 kg bombs i think its very weird that they only let us take 4 and 6 respectively, which is less than most bombers in general. it doesnt even make sense from a balancing standpoint since Tu-4 (+ alt variants), B-29, He-177, and all the other end-of-the-line big long range bombers get their full load outs that sometimes range from 20 to even 50+ bombs of the smaller variety.
