Hi yall. So, maybe like 2 weeks ago I decided to go back to playing ground (after playing Air RB non-stop), and holy, its something. I don’t know if its something wrong with me or what, but whatever br range, whatever nation and whatever vechicle I play, I just get curb stomped. I never rush the enemy straight on, and yet I get sniped from the other side of the map or get killed by the abundance of 35mm SPAA’s. And now that they are removing the Ho-Ri, I decided to take the Type 16 FPS for a spin and… It aint good chief… Like, I get youre a sniper… but the maps just dont allow you to snipe, and even if they do, Ill just get killed by another guy sniping from an almost imposible to hit angle or by a plane. And dont get me started on playing the Type 16 on city maps… or the horrible matchmaking thats on 9.3… Like…

.>Get killed from some guy sniping from the other side of the map

So yea, is there any way to get even slightly less annoyed when playing tanks and are there any tips on playing the Type 16 FPS? Every “relevant” piece of help I’ve seen regarding the Type 16 is more than 2 years old
9.3 is an… experience, youre either getting mullered by an abrams prototype or some autocanon rat that ignored your APFSDS.
its honestly such a mess that all the leopard 1a5s, a tank thats actually very good by 9.3 standards when you forget about the XM1, is going down as german noobs simply cant handle the onslaught that BR offers. a leo 1a5 in the french tree has the highest winrate of all 9.3s last month btw, while 5th lowest is the german 1a5, im not just trashing german mains for the sake of it.
never played the type 16 but i guess its similar to the VFM5 and MTTD and best thing i can say is that 9.3 has not got an armour meta, if running and gunning doesnt work for you then sniping is best bet so that youre far away enough to be able to duck back to cover when you get random non pens (volumetric is trash) and also get lots of scout assists
Keep swapping lineups until you find good spot. And if you cant find one then its better to take a break.
