Mig-21, Mig 17 and a Phantom in under a minute with a rank 2 prop at BR 3.0.
For USSR, Mig-3-15 at 1.7 works well too.
But crop dusters can land, when jets struggle. And they cost a lot less.
I also understand one-off pictures aren’t to be trusted.
M22 destroying a top tier tank doesn’t mean it can actually compete with it on a regular basis.
You might get a kill once in 10/50/100 engagements, but is it a fair engagement ?

Why do you ask then if it was a fair engagement, if your definition gives you an answer already. It wasn’t a fair match either, as they had a bunch of Guud-ies and we didn’t. So what is your point? No match in Warthunder is fair by your standards. So perhaps they are inappropriate?

How is it odd when people intentionally bring low tier vehicles in top tier for “fun” ?
One doesn’t cap airfields in RB. When one lands, there is usually AA protecting from the enemy. Capping in AB often costs a vehicle. Not capping costs a game. Why waste an expensive jet if a fast low rank can do the same and earn too.
Entire lineups need to be crewed. SL is more of an issue in AB than RB. Why waste them?

Low tier ground vehicles would likely have much weaker armor, much weaker guns and get killed by enemy a lot easier.
How is someone using a B1 bis in a battle with BRs 6.0+ OK?
Or anything similar to the above example.
I’d say ground vehicles are a bit more acceptable as said vehicles have a much better chance at killing top tier vehicles than a biplane has at killing a modern jet.
They might have a better chance, but it’s all relative. Those vehicles, aside from certain cases, would be a handicap to a team.
Now I’m not talking about pulling out a “beater” as a last option. Many people do that in arcade, and in GRB they are cheaper/easier to spawn? I see this mostly with light tanks that have easier time to cap (but probably can’t put up much of a fight if confronted).
My issue is with players that ONLY use lesser tanks in the battle, and just end up costing the team tickets.
