Tracking Camera for Manually Guided Aircraft Missiles

I would like to rework, or rather an addition to (fully) manual guided aircraft munitions (that excludes the laser guided one like the Fireflash), for ease of aim. Be there a historic sight or not, for all of them.
There arent many in game, but the main ones would be the X-4, Hs 293 A-1 and Ki-148 I-Go 1B, while they did partly have a dedicated sight, they (currently) arent implemented, but not all have such and that would only partly make it more usable.

What i am suggesting, is the ability, to lock the vision center to the rocket and even a follow view on the rocket, like when you drop bombs, hold the space bar and you got a camera view following the rocket.

Why?
As i sayed some dont have a dedicated sight (be it historical or not) and flying and guiding them while flying straight is rather bad, more over often you cant even see the rocket, because its either outside your screen, or behind your plane. Over range depending on your screen size and resolution its also super hard to guide them. Thats not just on tanks, but looking back on the Ki-148 I-Go 1B event, you had to hit a big wooden mock ship in the test run, even there many people (me included) had rather problems really hitting the stationary and rather big target.

With a follow view, you wont loose track of where your rocket is, it wont be hidden behind your view and you can more easily guide it even on smaller targets like tanks.

Be it general 3rd person view on the rocket, or fixed behind it, centered to where it will fly, which would offer the greatest precision.

Example picture, how it is already implemented on Bombs:

-1, we don’t want to repeat the old FJ-4B VMF-232 incident, where players could use the missile tracking camera to follow the Bullpup while guiding it, even all the way from the airfield.

You could argue for limiting this feature to manually guided air-to-air missiles only, but I think I have a better idea to refine your suggestion.

Instead of having the camera track the rocket itself in a third-person perspective, why not make it function similarly to how the Tracking Camera: Enemy keybind works, except with the camera locking onto your in-flight missile?

For example, right now I can track a MiG-15 using that camera mode.

Now imagine that, instead of tracking the MiG-15, the camera tracks my manually guided missile. That’s an implementation I could actually get behind.

That camera mode was removed for manual AGMs for a reason. Led to players abusing it for precise ‘cruise missile’ strikes at extreme ranges, from behind mountains, even from the runway before that also was fixed.

Honestly I’d like to see the camera removed from rockets, it’s already problematic enough in GRB where helicopters can hover above the AF and snipe ground targets using the spectate cam for completely safe indirect fire

I remember when this was in the game and people used it to exploit easier guidance and destroy B-29s & Tu-4s far easier, as well as tanks.

For ground RB only
Air RB will be a night mare it will get abused

You think this would get abused in Air more than ground? I would think it would be the other way around.

at least AA still exist you can shot the nords down with AA

True, but aside from heavy bombers and people AFK on the runway would there be many things that could be realistically shot using even the MCLOS AA NORDs?
Maybe I’m just horribly underestimating as I have no experience with them.
