• Secondly since it can vary between ships, it doesn’t imo exactly make sense to put it in Machinery of War section, Naval since that’s for specific vessels not the mode itself.
I’ve asked elsewhere & have had one other mention they couldn’t Launch a torpedoes with Imperial Japanese Navy cruisers, an for me it was a soviet corvette.
Question: I ask if to see if anyone else has experienced this on any tonnage of vessels today?

In the later part of the match while using a soviet built Project 1331M corvette (fictional MPK-307), towards the end of the corvette’s service, there was a french sloop & a american destroyer on the port side & I tried launching the fish yet nothing, repeatedly nothing, the launching audio played but nothing came from the tubes. The port side tubes were orange yet operational (I then figured maybe the tubes are further damaged than what the indicators say).
Now 30 seconds past, my duty is still to try an cap & round an island to a french destroyer, ready starboard side tubes (undamaged in battle yet) & again nothing, proceeds to try an depth charge the french warship yet alas I founder.
