Another update and an opportunity to fill in a BR gap, It was stated during the dev stream that gaijin are adding vehicles like xm246 and rapier to fill BR gaps, the Tor could be an extremely easy addition to this update and give ground players additional tools when dealing with cas in higher tiers. We recently see the Strela, OSA DF105, leopards all shared amongst tech tree’s, i personally think this Russian AA is long overdue.

It’s also a secondary spawn AA for a BR bracket where CAS is extremely rampant.
other nations need something way more than russia so give them something first Japan Israel and Italy still dont have a 12.0 SPAA
That requires new vehicles to be modelled, this vehicle already exists, and has the potential to help those nations without AA in those brackets when paired with Russia in the matchmaking.

i cant find any images of them having a tor but if they do I wouldn’t be against them getting one, germany does need something other than the flakradrak

Should’ve been the case originally but here we are. I don’t wanna see AA’s removed, I’d rather other nations gain an equivalent.

I agree but nobody can get a system as capable until gaijin adds multi part systems, it absolutely should not have been added to the game yet

The Tor should have definitely come first, the pantsirs addition meant that alot of AA were nerf’d into the ground, especially the Rolands which are in an especially bad state currently. The rate and range of Cas on high tiers i simply want to see more AA options for everyone.
I believe other nations need an SPAA before Russia but I still say yes as I find it odd that a Russian SPAA is only seen in the Cinese TT, although Russia only ever operated a slightly more advanced version

If that’s the case and it’s slightly better it wouldn’t matter if it ends up 11.3 after an upgrade modification in future, i don’t know the exact specs but I’d imagine either way it’d sit perfectly between the 2S6 and pantsir. But i also agree other nations need gaps filling. This is just one i believe is extremely easy to implement now as it already exists in game. Israel Japan, France need some help and I’d also love to see an IR system added to Sweden like a stinger or Mistral as its the only nation in the entire game without a fire and forget AA.
As a Swedish main I agree with them needing a FaF SPAA. I’m pretty sure what Russia operated was effectively the Tor-M2 (Source: trust) so it’s not an insane modification, not like K-13 to R-73, but still a decent upgrade. Either way I want a Russian Tor (I dont play russia except Su-33 cause I wont pass on a free flanker)

I have finished the US, UK and German ground tree’s 90% of Russia, Japan, Sweden and France so i have no Main nation, i simply want more AA options to give ground players the tools to fight Cas effectively throughout every BR step.
