朋友好：
我作爲一個戰雷聯隊長以及老玩家，一直都十分享受在游戲裏體驗各個國家和歷史時期的載具。毫不誇張地說，這就是使得戰雷如此令人着迷的一個原因。但衆所周知，前不久的中國玩家群體因VT4加入日系以及所謂“從不虧待”而集體衝塔事件令Gaijin似乎轉變了想法。在下個版本中所有玩家將能夠選擇自己希望的旗幟來代表一個科技樹，這意味著即便VT4加入日本，那麽中國玩家完全可以用泰國甚至中國的旗幟來代替日本的國旗，如此一來，游戲中便不在有日系。雖然我覺得如果有些玩家只是從我剛剛説的這個角度出發，是有些自欺欺人，但是無疑這是一個好的改變，令所有人都有滿意的解決方案。但令人意向不到的是，Gaijin似乎也准備將青天白日旗移除，而全部由五星紅旗取代。這樣你就會看見在緬甸戰場上的謝爾曼坦克背後是五星紅旗，或者對岸的M1A2T背後是五星紅旗。如此唐突的畫面，想來也是Gaijin害怕中國玩家再次因爲旗幟的問題冲官方，而乾脆提前自我審查閹割。何其可悲。
我不想談及政治，因爲我們每個人其實都左右不了國際局勢，除了做炮灰，基本上老大也不會怎麽需要你的額外貢獻。所以請不要嘗試教育我你的政治觀點，因爲我也毫不在意。但是目前的事實是：青天白日旗除了代表著現代台灣，也是中國歷史上十分重要的旗幟：中華民國的國旗，是那個在日本受降儀式上代表著戰勝國中國的旗幟。我希望青天白日旗保留在游戲中，因爲這不光是代表了台灣地區的軍事力量，也是對於中國歷史的尊重。
戰雷已經13周年，中系也已經加入游戲6年。第一次見到因爲國別問題導致這麽大爭議的，還就是在中國玩家群體裏。我不覺得一個中國歷史上的旗幟會帶給大多數玩家們糟糕的體驗。

As a Chinese squad leader and veteran player I always enjoyed the fact that you can see vehicles from all nations and regimes that existed in history. Without doubt, this is one of the major reasons that makes War Thunder very inclusive and engaging for people from over the world: to see their military force getting represented.
However, after the boycott led by Chinese community earlier in Sep over the VT4 controversy and so-called “prolonged mistreatment” against Chinese tech tree (personally I don’t see it), Gaijin seems to have simply decided that they will make all people to choose whatever nation’s flag they wish to see and call it an end. It is a good move, I have to say, as people now have the option to change the flag for tech trees to their likings, yet weirdly Gaijin also decided to remove ROC flag from the game, for the obvious reason that they are afraid of another wave of protest coming from the Chinese community, with a PRC background at least. For those who are confused, Republic of China (ROC) was the first Republic regime Chinese people established after overthrowing the Qing dynasty in early 20th century and represented China as a nation during WWII, while People’s Republic of China (PRC) was established in 1949 and representing the majority of Chinese people now.
Most people now think ROC flag is a national flag for Taiwan, but it is not true. I do not intend to get into politics as we can’t do much, but I think it is best to make this clear: Taiwan is not recognized as a nation by majority of the world, but as a region that is, admittedly, pretty self-independent; and ROC flag bears far more historical attachment to Chinese people than just a flag for Taiwan. I wish ROC’s flag could stay in game not just to show respect for a very honorable piece of memory in Chinese history, but also to give people living in Taiwan, where the flag is still being used, the entitlement that their military force is represented in game.
This game has been running for 13 years and the Chinese tech tree has been at your service for 6 years now, and I do not think an already existing flag will destroy game experience for majority of the players. For those 3 people who would rather see an actual war between my people, just grow up.
