As you said before, Australia Abrams is operate by Australians…… 💀

And as I said before. Australia doesn’t have a sub tree to put it all in one place. Thailand WILL. There is a difference here.

I guess so. Not sure if it’s ‘privilege’ but the decision from Gaijin was definitely to appease or to not anger the Korean and Chinese communities. Whereas the international community seemingly does not treat it as a big problem. Some have spoken out to change it for consistency and other good reasons but not at the scale Korea and China detest it it seems.

Can we solve this problem like this?

  1. Add the VT4 to the Japanese tech tree, but also give China the M1A2T Abrams to balance things out for the Chinese community.

If China’s unique tank (the VT4) ends up in another nation’s tree, why can’t the Abrams do the same? And if Japan gets more Thai vehicles later, China should get equivalent foreign tanks too.

(But honestly, this might backfire. Who wants to see VT4 vs. VT4 or M1 vs. M1 battles? At that point, we might as well rename the game “Renegade Thunder”!)

  1. Add the VT4 to China’s tech tree as a squadron or premium vehicle—just like the VT5 or Khalid.

These tanks could keep their buyer’s flag but retain their Chinese-given names.

(This would calm the Chinese players, though Thai fans might feel a bit ripped off. Still, if you really want the VT4, just grab the premium pack or grind the squadron version!)

  1. Don’t add the VT4 to anyone.

(Fine! Then nobody gets to play it. Problem “solved”!)

Finally:
Military games are already a sensitive topic. Pushing the VT4 for Japan now? It feels like the devs are deliberately poking the Chinese players and community, doesn’t it?

I don’t understand it my self, gaijin had no issue adding the captured P-51 to Japan and yes the pilot was tortured by the Kempeitai, but you didn’t hear the US moan about that only that it was C&P

There are even Japanese planes in the US & Chinese Tech Tree as well. However Japan mains never complained about it either. I really cannot see why VT4 is an issue for them when they also have Japanese Tanks.

That’s my other point too, China have Japanese tanks and yet they are completely fine with that but yet having a Chinese tank in Japan with no connection to the history they are moaning about is borderline hypocrisy.

If it was a WW2 Chinese tank being added to Japan, yeah I get their argument but this is modern stuff literally no connection what so ever.

I agree.VT4 is a unique vehicle that should only be owned by China

Leaving aside political factors, the VT4 vehicle body in Thailand is of the FY-2 type. It has a lower configuration compared to the ones on the Chinese tech tree, lacks APS, and the loading time is still 7.1 seconds. When playing 99A, the 7.1-second loading time is truly insufficient. Instead of playing the low-end VT4, it would be better to see what kind of ammunition the T84 uses.

So if it does come what BR would it be ?

It’s approaching September 3rd. Then someone in China spread the rumor that Thailand would update VT4 in the next version. After that, the domestic players got angry. And we, who could only help to debunk the rumor, just sighed 😅

11.3-11.7, this is the maximum br for ASEAN tank already. Most of them buying tanks is just for parade and not fighting so they really didn’t have high pen ammo

It is expected to be above 11.7.

However, it is also necessary to see what kind of ammunition is being used in Thailand.

Yeah true
