Topic about Japan adds t84 and vt4

Regarding whether Japan should acquire the Thai VT4 tanks, many have referenced the relationship between Taiwan and China. They argue that just as China has acquired vehicles from Taiwan and Japan has obtained them from Thailand, the situations are comparable. However, many seem to forget that Taiwan is not recognized as an independent country by the United Nations—Taiwan is an inalienable part of China. Therefore, this analogy does not hold.
Moreover, the VT4 tank is not particularly strong and lacks distinctive features, so adding it to the Japanese tech tree offers little benefit. Furthermore, this involves historical issues between the two peoples, and I hope the developers will not take this action.

You know, as long as we get to have Thai unique tank like Oplot-T, I think that many Thai are already happy and content.

Thai players will be happy to finally get their set of tanks, im particularly interested about the T84 i heard quite a bit of interesting things about it

Let’s just keep the discussion about the vehicles T84 - VT4

There’s topics in suggestions and in other areas for south korea tech trees;

Many Thai players love T-84, like, it’s kind cool, despite its shady history of how it got into Thai service. You should have heard about the story about T-84 in the parliament lmao.

isnt it a T80 kinda but its just faster and more silly like faster reverse n what not

Well, from what I have heard, it’s quite a mixed between T-80 and T-90 or something, but with good reverse speed and solid protection. So it will be quite a lovely addition to Thai line up and for Japanese tree which mostly have glass cannon tanks, imo.

Ooooo I see, would be pretty fun to have I hope it comes within the new update

Vehicles in the Chinese tech tree (CHINA) are exclusively those domestically developed by the PRC/ROC, received as aid, captured, or legitimately purchased . This is completely unlike arbitrarily adding a vehicle to the Japanese tree that has zero historical ties to Japan’s development – especially when the vehicle’s nation of origin already has its own dedicated tech tree .

Maybe it’s the translator. I mean, Thailand does have vt 4, but the vt of Thailand 4 The inclusion of the Japanese science and technology tree is not in line with reality, nor is it in line with gaijin rules for

The Oplot story is quite funny

In this regard, The opposition brought up a picture of a deteriorated T-84 Oplot tank that was emitting black smoke from its exhaust pipe to accompany the discussion. Ukraine only uses 10 of this model, while Thailand has purchased 49, which is not worth the price of a second-hand tank. However, the opposition also brought up pictures of old tanks purchased by the army with the faces of Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Interior, and a new tank with his own face on it to accompany the discussion. He challenged the ministers to sit in the old tank (oplot) so that they could use the new tank to shoot, believing that the old tanks would not be in the condition of tanks.

Didnt they say not planned/ideas

meaning in future they could add it

Nice xDDD cool sounding tank and a funny backstory. a good combo

I don’t really want to keep this idea going, but have you seen Hungarian top tier vehicle(s)?

Anyway, a little bit of a shameless plug, if anyone wants to talk or discuss about Thai vehicles beyond T-84 Oplot and stuff, feel free to talk and discuss about them on this thread!
