or you can say “Rot Thang Lak Baep Hok Sip” in Thai (very long name lol)

That would be a back up for Type 90 Fuji buyers, instead of leaving after 1 death they will leave after 2! Or maybe even 3!!

Why not lol

Remove Japanese vehicles (including future potential additions) from the ROC+PRC tree.

Remove Chinese vehicles (including future potential additions) from the Japanese tree.

Sorry Thai bros :(

I’m not talking politics here, all i’m saying is that they both officially have “China” in the name, so putting them in a single tree just called “China” makes it ambiguous enough that it doesn’t cause conflict.

how do you think majority of eastern EU feels like, to have tanks built in their country just represented in game as “ussr”

T-80UD exists in the Soviet Tech Tree. Ukrainian factories designed a lot of Soviet vehicles.

This is nonsense

its a Thai tank
Sure it was made and sold by China

compromise middle ground

Dont call it VT4 in game, give it Thai name
postpone release till update after next update
or make it a Thai event vehicle

its still just a game

They don’t call the Thai Aircraft by their Thai designations. EG the F-5s all begin with B.Kh.18. So, I doubt it.

There are weirder names for vehicles in game, im sure it wouldn’t be a big issue for an exception for the VT4

Pretty sure the RTA doesnt give much unique designations for their equipment as much as the RTAF does, it usually called as VT-4 or MBT-3000 (VT-4) in most media Ive seen.

Theres some hilarious naming mishaps that happen from time to time tho like calling it Oplot VT-4 lol

I doubt they’d change all Thai vehicles to Thai designation just to make Chinese players happy. I also doubt that’d make those same players happy. It’s still Chinese technology surrounded by Japanese vehicles.

not all, just the Vt4

Officially, the Royal Thai Army refers to it as รถถังหลักแบบ VT4 (Rot Tang Lak Baep VT4 – “Main Battle Tank, Type VT4”)

Supposedly the VT-4’s common nickname is “ราชาปืนใหญ่” (Racha Puen Yai), which translates to “King of the Big Gun.” or “เจ้าใหญ่” (Jao Yai – “Big Boss” or “Big Guy”)

Now this is unsubstantiated stuff so dont quote me on this lol

I love it, id love to see that in game now

Very interesting knowledge.

Even then, I doubt they’d do it. It’ll be controversial even if called by the old name, MBT-3000. The Thai army only call it VT4, so there’s no true name to even change it to.
