3rd September isn’t even a confirmed release date for Thai VT4 yet people became angry over that. If gaijin had announced that date then the anger would have made sense but being angry over a leaker’s words is totally absurd.
It’s the opposite, they have confirmed that the Thai VT4 is NOT coming in the September update.

Do you think the leakers and the authorities are not collaborating? If that were the case, the authorities could have sued them for stealing corporate secrets or other charges, but they didn’t. Moreover, the leaks are often very accurate, so it’s highly likely that the authorities are cooperating with them.

In that case, you have nothing to worry about. It is not coming in the September update, and likely not even this year.

Hopefully that’s the case—after all, none of us want to see players fighting among themselves while the officials just stir up drama and count their profits.
We are not releasing a VT-4 currently for the Thailand Sub Branch in the next major update. We have already been clear on this that it is not coming in this major update.
There was no offical announcement or comment that it was going to be in this major update anyway.

Britain with Indian vehicles and probably to get an Indian sub-tree in the future. Also Britain with South African vehicles, where the large majority of South Africans especially those that were young in the 20th century despise the British but we don’t care as its a video game and not a place for us to vent our political frustrations since they have no place on these forums. (Worth noting South Africa went through 3 years of bloody conflict with the British before we were subjugated and turned into a colony and this happened in the early 1900s as well, before the great war in fact.) I don’t see much of a stink being made about those vehicles/lines being in the British tree. Nor will I, its a game, it doesn’t mean anything and there’s no political ideologies at work to undermine entire groups of people or nations.

Im just reiterating what Ive said
Summary:
- Base VT-4 is operated by Nigeria, Pakistan, and Thailand
- Upgraded VT-4A1 (better rounds, and APS) is operated by PRC
The logic goes then is why should Thailand be deprived of mind you, an EXPORT vehicle to be represented in the game. China already has the upgraded VT-4A1, Pakistani VT-4 can still get representation within the China TT.
Its a single vehicle and designed SPECIFICALLY for export. There is no other justification that it shouldnt be represented under the THAI subtree when it has broad support from the THAI playerbase.
It is my sincerest hope that China players can understand this. It does not deprive the China TT of anything and I urge that we should celebrate more Chinese representation instead. Just as I personally would want to support more Chinese-Operated vehicles even if they were foreign-designed like the M1 Abrams for the ROC and others.
