You’re commenting on leaks, Gaijin has never confirmed the VT-4 to be coming next update.
It’d be bad if it was intentional. I doubt Gaijin are intentionally doing this to annoy or hurt Chinese players. Your money is just as good as American money, afterall!

That could reduce the controversy to some extent. In fact, if it weren’t this sensitive time, Chinese players wouldn’t be nearly as upset — some even used to hope VT-4 would go into another tree for a buff or rework (it’s notoriously bad in-game). The problem is the devs picked almost the worst possible timing.

Don’t worry it is not coming in the next major update. It will probably be delayed to next year or even later.
In the end, i still want to see the Big Boss in the Thai sub tree
not as a random Chinese premium
There are ways to do this respectfully and cleanly without any major backlash
First would be the timing
Then, how its added, example, Thai event
The naming might help
Literally add it as a Thai sub tree, dont just drop it in between type 90 and type 10

It would suck to see half the player base miss out on a vehicle, and/or other half feel ignored
Thats why forums like these exist in the end
Just need a suggestion moderator to see it, make sure most people are happy with such a solution, or at least something similar, and everyone’s mostly happy

Not really… The VT-4 isn’t coming in September, so the next Major update would be in the Winter. Is there another 'bad timing- in Jan/Feb?

From another perspective, for Japanese tech tree players, considering the performance of the VT4 in the Chinese tech tree and the fact that Japan already has powerful lineup vehicles like the Type 90B, the addition of the VT4 to Japan is entirely unnecessary. Gaijin should spend this time fixing bugs, improving upcoming new vehicles, and brainstorming more gameplay ideas, rather than stirring up controversy with such a poorly thought-out move.

They do have Thai designation(Type-60) according to Bhuddist year, they’re just not popular Redirecting...

I still want to see the VT4, the Thai ground tree cannot be complete without it. It’s a very important tank to them and this might even result in VT4’s performance being improved.
Isnt the Thai VT4 technically worse? Weaker shell, different engine, etc

I think so, since it’s the export model. China players have even less to fear from that.
we didn’t say that the VT4 cannot be added to the game as part of Thailand’s lineup—we just think it shouldn’t appear in Japan’s tech tree in now.
