I’ve been joking about just renaming the techtree to Thailand, with Japan as subtree. If this is really the issue I’m all for just rebranding the techtree

Does Thailand operate VT4? Yes? There’s plenty of historical verification there.
Every Thai vehicle has a roundel in front of its name.
They have Thai flag in the statcard
and Operator Country is Thailand

Well japan have good friendly relationship with thais and thais did bought vt4s
if they were to team up to fight against lets say china, and both japan and thai deployed their stuff, guess what, thais would use their vt4s , which means to say the vt4s would be fighting FOR japan. Thats your verification there
Only Chinese and Korean client even show the Japanese national flag, all others get the rising sun for no real reason

Single exported vehicle is way different from a whole sub tree
Should also get Thai air force designation
lets transform the Germany tree into “Swiss and German Tree”, lets make France into the “Benelux” tree, Sweden into the “Scandinavian Tree” (despite them all being predominantly one nation’s vehicles)
It just looks cooler
They both see themselves as China, so there’s no real issue there.
